i stand by my claim that the opening car chase in QoS is edited like a slick tv advert.

Well i'd buy what they're selling. I still stand by my claim its the best car chase they've staged in the series!

Starting Die Another Day now as I lay sick in bed. Takes me back to the days when I watched Bond films when I was sick as a young child.

You can't do wrong with DAD.
Almost makes me wish I was sick in bed and had an excuse to spend two hours with Pierce Brosnan....and Halle Berry he he....

The opening’s not too shabby. It eventually becomes a total mess though.

The title song is so bad. Maybe the series’ worst IMO.

You seem to have cancelled out AWTD from your memory. Understandable.

    “Liver not so good.”

    Always liked that line.

Seems with the exception of Connery, #4 is the unlucky number for the Bond actors in my book (MR, DAD, and SP all currently rank as my least favorites from their Bond actors). DAD isn’t so bad in the first third, but still not amazing. Dreading when it gets worse.

These scenes after North Korea are very... meh. Not much particularly good or bad really.

Jinx of course is an underwhelming Bond girl. That being said, I think I still dislike Christmas Jones more.

Personally I found Hong Kong and Havana the best piece of Bond since maybe the 60s.

Some call DAD one of the most “fun” entries in the series, but I just don’t see it at all. It’s usually either too bland or too crazy over-the-top (which doesn’t always equal fun for me).

The use of slo-mo is so pointless.

Gustav... not a very good villain. However, this sword fight sequence is one of the film’s highlights. Maybe the best scene.

Now the Ice Palace... ugh. It only gets worse from here. This unfortunately will not be getting a reappraisal from me like it has from some users here.

I wouldn't say 'most fun', but I certainly have a blast with it and always have. Quite an entertaining (albeit quite silly) entry for me.

More power to you. With the exception of a few scenes, I’ve had as much fun with this as watching paint dry.

It's certainly not for everyone that's for sure. Cringeworthy in places no doubt. One needs to be in the right frame of mind, or out of one's mind perhaps.

It just doesn’t work for me. I know some people have a soft spot for it, but I’ve tried many times and my opinion of it never seems to get better. Has a chance of taking my bottom spot this Bondathon.

I can appreciate that. The same applies to me and TWINE, or me and SP. Tried to enjoy them but each time they actually get worse. Oh well, at least we have a rich series of 24 films to enjoy something from.

Understandable. Those ones leave a lot to be desired too.

Ugh the laser chase and surfing scene... It just speaks for itself.

We needed and deserved CR so much after this. This is as bad a viewing as I’ve ever had of DAD.

It was certainly time for a change in approach. On that, I most certainly agree.

Like SP, a really lame climax here. Just in different ways. Other weakest Bond climaxes I’d say include DAF, MR, and TWINE.

We all look for different things in "our" Bonds ;)

That’s the beauty of Bond. We all have different ways of viewing the same movies.
@Andi1996Ruegg how is Jason going out of interest?
Is he watching any Bond movies?
I know when I’m recovering from anything and nothing as major as Jason has had to endure, a good Bond film can help immensely.

Just started TWINE. It has been trending downward for me lately; hoping for better things today.

Decent PTS, but too long. The boat chase is the best part so far for sure.
