I have to keep reminding myself about subjectivity and most of the time I don’t get riled up about peoples opinions but Eric Serra turns on something in my brain that I can’t turn off

No worries, being passionate is a good thing in my book.
You helped me appreciate QoS more, after all, don't forget that!

Decided to embark on a Bondathon it's been a few years, starting with SP so a reverse Bondathon.

I like the Bond Theme playing on the Bluray menu lol

Mexico looks vivid, I have always liked the pre title sequence in SP Decent music at this point also.

Craig looks odd in the Mexico scenes, bit of a jowl

He does indeed look odd. Something done to cover up the eye wrinkles (crow's feet?) which are sometimes quite noticeable on him when he's walking about imho. I hope they don't do that again in B25 but rather let him look his age. We don't want another Roger AVTAK situation.

It's like CGI has been added to his face though it's a really bizarre filter used in Mexico though I like the pre title overall.

The SP pts gets destroyed by color filters, but at least it's consistently yellow/brownish.
In SF it's jumping back and forth from brownish to cold blue and back to brownish, which is highly distracting for me.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed it. Most apparent when he gives Sciarra the staredown. His face looks fake and it took me out of it. I just hope they don't do it again.

    I like the Backfire theme.

Great expression on Craig's face when Marco Sciarra spots him, pure Bond

Time to fast forward the SP title sequence and song are the worst in the series for me.

+1. I'm faced with the same unfortunate scenario each time, and sadly the menu function doesn't enable a quick jump to the next chapter (a sick inside joke?) so I have to do it manually which is a pain.

The vocals make my ears bleed lol

Bond in a traditional M office one plus in this film.

    I agree. It's audiovisual overload.

M (Judi Dench) is on Bond's TV, looking at the rest of Bond's apartment I am suprised he has a TV. Get the Sony TV plug in there lol

That’s the most theme you’ll get in the whole film so soak it up

This film is Cringe-worthy and dull, I remember why it's floating near the bottom of my ranking.

Bond is in Bellucci home the last twenty minutes has been flat.

Terrible dialogue and Bond is now acting odd while he pulls Belluci.

It's an uncomfortable scene which could trigger the #MeToo crowd today, but I think the film peaks here. From the Spectre conference room on it's all downhill for me.

So many of you seem to fast forward through particular bits. If I have to endure Mendes' work in its entirety, then you do, too!

The Spectre scene is on now it's good, I think the last few times I watched this I switched it off, I only ever switch of this and SF, I always watch all the other films till the end.

I never fast forward. I even don't during QoS, at the risk of having an epileptic fit.

I love CR and QoS the last few Craig films I struggle with, though the first hour of SF now makes it better than SP in my ranking.

The first hour is rather good, I agree. The film did feel good until Silva appeared which disrupted the whole thing afterwards.
