    I love the warehouse sequence.

M scene. Bond looks like he got a trim.

Robert Brown is my second favorite M.

    Lupe's watching a re-scored John Wayne film. I think it's RED RIVER.
I should get a copy of RED RIVER, myself, or maybe I could borrow Lupe's?

The underwater section is perfect, IMO. Genuinely exciting.

Bond's hanging out at the Barrelhead Bar.

    Benicio is great here.

Everyone's favorite laugh out loud moment:

    DELLAAAAA!

I don't think that I get the joke.

On the "unintentionally funny" thread there was some discussion that that particular line delivery evoked laughter.

I personally don't think the line was necessary, and I've never really laughed at it, but I feel the music in that scene doesn't quite give the right mood.
I don't laugh when I see that scene. Rather, I cringe uncomfortably at the theatrics on display. I realize what he's supposed to be feeling and that Dalton is an honest actor and not poncing about, but a little more composure would have been appreciated.

"You'd better find yourself a new lover!!" One of Dalton's finest moments as Bond.

Della's dad looks like he wouldn't be very approving of Della marrying anybody.

As we learned in the "guess the character" thread that it is actually Della's Uncle.

Interesting. I never knew that either.

Casino scene is one of my favorites. I always liked Sanchez with the iguana.
Very colorful here from Lupe's dress to the shine on Sanchez's dress shirt.

I love Don Stroud, so great as Mike Hammer's best buddy Pat Chambers. I remember thinking this Bond had an excellent cast. Actually, I really wouldn't trade off any of the performers in this one.

I remember a few years after LTK, Don Stroud appeared as a biker on MacGyver.
By then he had lost an eye. Apparently he was coming to the aid of someone being mugged and was stabbed.

Soto's lack of intonation makes me realize how much I miss Nikki Van Der Zyl. She would have nailed the voiceover for Lupe.

Absolutely. Talisa does seem a bit self conscious in her line delivery. Although I think the scene on Krest's boat with Bond she does alright.

    Agreed.

I do feel it's a shame Tim never played Dracula. I can see him in characteristic attire: all black with a flowing cape, and his LTK hair.

Christopher Neame is another Hammer horror actor. Also appeared as various villains on MacGyver.

    Krest death scene.

    Launder it.

    I miss Desmond as Q.

The Lupe/Pam/ Q scene could have easily been removed.

Well as I wind down on LTK I'll probably finish this and call it a night.

    A great viewing of LTK.

Huh, I watched LTK today as well. I had a great time with it and for the first time it went ahead of TLD

It’s better. TLD is good, but LTK’s superior villains and third act push it ahead.

I disliked the ending and some of the shoddy acting and some silly cringey moments but overall I loved the girl, the action, and most of all the villains and story

Starting TSWLM now. One of my favorite Bond adventures. It’s the last time I’ll watch a Bond film in my current house... crazy. Probably will have to take a break from the marathon after today for a little while because of circumstances.

There are several reasons why TSWLM is Moore’s greatest Bond outing. One of them is a 10/10 PTS.

The second half is good, but I love the first half of TSWLM the most. Basically one great, memorable scene after the other. I hope it always is remembered as one of the series’ best.

Love the use of the Lawrence of Arabia theme. This film is just packed with amazing things.

That’s pretty great too! I’m at the underwater car battle scene. This is one of my most rewatched Bond films for good reasons.
