"They'll be too bloody late!" Love Craig's delivery of that line.

    Same, great delivery.

Crane scene. Best part of this pts (added in at last minute by Greg Powell I believe!)
Thrilling moment Bonds jump from crane to train carriage.

That cufflink adjustment is just daft.

I don’t think there’s anything about SP that I prefer over SF.

Top 10 opener. Suspense and excitement. Pity it's not repeated in rest.
    Titles and theme.
Return for Daniel Kleinman, one of the positives from the dreaded Brossa era, but a bit overdone here! Craig looks uncomfortable in shots. Adele song is very meh! Wouldn't listen to it outside of the film!

Gloom and doom opening! Rain, darkness, M has a face like a smacked arse! Even the bloody bulldog ornament is frowning!

You think after falling from a bridge 007 would be careful with his back! Shouldn't shag upright against a wall!

Well written scene with M and Bond, though I hate the "because we need you" line!

Word association test. Good idea....but I think it could have been better!

Naomi Harris. Just comes across as trying too hard. Walking through to M office, Thought she would dislocate a hip with that swaggering walk

Ralph Fiennes, one of the best things in the film. Comes across more impressive than Dench! Love Bonds look to him when he says "dont cock it up"!

The gunbarrel (even that wasn't properly done) and some of the comedy are probably the only two positives I can come up with, and that's saying a lot given how little I enjoyed SF.

Q scene. Still Gloom! If Harris was trying too hard, Whishaw is not trying hard enough!
    He is better in SP!

    Indeed. Useless imho.

The 2nd best action sequence in the Craig era after the CR crane sequence imho. I prefer it to the QoS chase which comes in third for me. The only cock up is the CGI face and overt Omega placement.

A lot of praise for Roger Deakins on here but he only impresses me in the Shanghai sequence!

Nah,its no different than Brosnan's tie adjusting,Connery's putting a carnation or a rose into his lapel ala GF and DAF, or Moore's brushing down of his suits etc ...it's Bond.

Fight with Patrice is waaay too choreographed.
Has no excitement for me, its more like Strictly Come Dancing than a Bond movie scrap!

It's highly stylized I'll admit, but this nonsense started with the prior film, when Forster somehow thought it would be thrilling to film the chase sequence at the Opera in an arty way. Pretentious in both cases in my humble view. I still prefer the SF 'dance' though.

I feel that way with a lot of the Mendes action scenes, including the fight on Silva's island.

Her intro scene across skyscrapers in SF is one of the great moments in Bondom for me. Newman nails the score too.

Dont like the shaving scene. Maybe its Harris, I dunno, it just annoys me!

    It feels a bit rehearsed.

Nearly an hour in.. and Craig finally LOOKS like Bond. Very cool. Great tux.

Would be great if Bond enters M s office, and finds Moneypenny on his lap. shaving him.

The tux is fine. The tailoring less so.
