I have been to Tanger. Very picturesque city.
Fleming's Bond would fire his tailor if the jacket were not cut properly with enough room to conceal his weapon.
I imagine it to be very beautiful.
It is an old city situated at the coast, with surrounding populated hillsides.
I really love old buildings. I've never been to a Bond location.....except that I live near to where TSWLM novel takes place.
I'm starting to appreciate Waltz's Blofeld more though.
RIP Pierce's MI6. To be honest, I never really liked that MI6 building. I preferred the one used in Roger's later films.
Even Tanner looks like he might open a can of whoop ass.
JAMES BOND WILL RETURN............................some day after Daniel decides whether or not to do any more......................
It's 2018.........................
JAMES BOND WILL STILL RETURN.........................
when Boyle and Hodge complete their script.........................
crickets chirping........
Pretty much what I was picturing. Or his great TND facial expression when Paris says " Did I come to close..........for comfort?"
Craig does look indifferent in that scene.
When Swann dumps Bond I could see Pierce shouting "Then maybe you shouldn't be living HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE!"
As much as Roger used to get thrashed for only being comedic, he was quite believable in serious moments and quite versatile. I think had he played a scene like the one with Swann on the London streets it would have been very convincing.
Me too.....the whole cinema laughed at those 2 moments.
Most of the time it wasnt Sir Roger being comedic,it was the story evolving around him..he was quite straight in most of his films.
It was a mistake on Mendes part to interrupt the chase with the call to Moneypenny..but I have to say I enjoy the car chase too, particularly the second part when the cars descend the steps!
