    Bond leaps out the window.

This is back when Arnold wasn't afraid to use the Bond theme during Bondian moments.

Moneypenny. Not a bad Moneypenny scene really.

M seems to be friends with Bond here. I don't like this sequence being in the PTS actually.

Pierce does a lot of shouting as Bond.

    It's kind of funny.

I love Maria's deep red leather jacket.

The cinematography in TWINE is astonishingly bland. Dull colors throughout.
The Blu-ray improves things a bit. Perhaps the color levels were raised by Lowery?

Pierce makes lots of faces here.

The underwater tie straightening bit seems like an afterthought.

TWINE was my favorite Brosnan Bond when it was released. Only in the last few years do I find it hard to get through.

I believe Raymond Benson gave Cigar Girl a name in the novelization, and there was yet another name for her character in an earlier script.

I do like Garbage's tune here. Second to Surrender this might be my favorite Brosnan Bond song.

I feel like this Bond film wasn't very popular at the time.

    It's rarely discussed these days.

Most of my friends preferred TND at the time. I was pretty disappointed in TND back in '97.

Pierce looks somber here at the Scotland meeting.

    He snaps at Tanner.

I remember many pointing out how much Pierce had aged in TWINE since the last outing. I think he looks alright. I actually prefer his DAD look.

John Cleese isn't funny. That coat bit kind of spoils Desmond's final Q scene, IMO.

Pierce looks like he wants to cry.

I somehow can't get behind "sensitive" Bond. He's getting emotional over the kidnapping video. Certainly Bond has lived through far worse situations and seen more shocking images.
Both Connery and Moore I believe would have played that scene differently. They could display empathy in a more subtle fashion, and hence more effective.

Terrorist kidnappings are indeed serious business, but this section is played too somber for my tastes. It's not as if Blofeld were threatening to set off a nuclear warhead.

Bond driving. I love scenes like this. Pierce looks particularly good here. Nice score as well.

Brosnan's "Bond. James Bond" isn't bad here. He'll eff it up later in the film.

I love that bit. To me, a good example of the cheesiness being enjoyable.

I remember the audience laughing. The bit with the cops being splashed also got a huge laugh.

OHMSS homage. The score is great here, IMO.

Nice to see Bond n skis again.

That one is ok too, but I prefer the tie. Some of the Brosnan cheese was wonderful, other bits were quite cringey.

I could be wrong, but wasn't Vic Armstrong pretty much responsible for the actions scenes in this one? Apted was more of a character director.

Now Pierce is starting to lighten up.
