I certainly prefer this over SPECTRE's climax and all of the Brosnan endings, with the exception of GE.

Bond attempts to rescue vesper to no avail.

    Craig plays this scene beautifully.

I am really glad nobody else got the part of Bond here.
I have a hard time picturing Goran, Clive Owen, or Gruffudd selling this scene.
    Who knows, though?

Bond plays with his feet while on the phone to M. That's almost as un Bondian as picking his nose.

    The final scene.

The gunshot really startled the audience. I remember some gasps.

...........and he delivers the line beautifully!!!!

I'm glad Martin Campbell had the common sense not to spoil that last moment by inserting the gunbarrel there.

My biggest pet peeve in the series.

So ends CR. My favorite Craig outing.

Much like the opening of SUPERMAN IV THE QUEST FOR PEACE, where the Superman Theme plays over the Warner Bros. logo we get the Bond theme play over the studio logos.

Not a nice comparison actually, but I like SUPERMAN IV.

Nine years older, I actually don't think Craig looks that much different.
He looks great here on the rooftops. Pure Bond.

I'l try an experiment here as I tend to rank this one fairly low:

I'll only post positive aspects on this one in an attempt to see if it can rise in my rankings.

Providing I don't get interrupted tonight.

I already compared it to SUPERMAN IV, so we'll scratch that.

Considering the PTS is on the longer side, it feels much faster paced than TWINE's to me.

and into the titles...........the only time we see Craig shirtless in this one.

Tanner and Bond en-route to Q branch. I like this section.
Craig looks damn good in this one.

I hate corporate mergers. I've had jobs fall apart after a company is either bought out and merged. It's a red flag. I'd like to see M kick Denbigh's ass.

Bond gets a new Omega. Nice to see Craig finally equipped with some gadgets.

Bond takes care of her assassins.

There was a time when the 1979 version of DRACULA had a beautiful golden look.

Then director John Badham changed the colors for the laser disc reissue.
It has since remained a muted, nearly black and white film.

The deep yellow colors in SPECTRE bear a slight resemblance to the cinematic release of DRACULA.
