The ABC network version of the title sequence was altered considerably. The title itself was on the top of the screen as opposed to the bottom. Why? Who knows?

I didn't see this one in the cinema during it's release. I saw it decades later in a Bond marathon. I do remember when this was out, though.
My folks had moved us to Florida for a brief time, and I can remember everyone pretty much looking like guests as Gonzales' pool party.

I have a cat named Max. I should say he's named after Max the parrot, but he's actually named after Zorin.

Melina's huge close up................and on to Moneypenny.

Roger's hair looks quite long in the Moneypenny scene.

Roger's hair is almost the same length and style as The Fonz in some of the seasons of HAPPY DAYS.

I think it looks alright on Roger here.

Ooh, ooh, ooh can you feel it excite you?

try to keep it up..................and ease it in...............

The dancers at the party aren't exactly grooving to the tune.

The guests at the party are no match for Bond. he disposes them with ease.

Bond and Melina run through the woods. Melina thinks this is funny.

I remember catching the PTS of this one on SHOWTIME back in the summer of '82. I didn't sit down and watch the whole film until ABC's debut airing in November of '83.
It was my favorite Roger then.

My favorite version of the Roger nod.

Love a drive in the country, don't you?

For some idiotic reason my car only has a cassette player. I could replace the stereo for one with CD options. Either way, I should get the FYEO soundtrack and play it when I drive around my rural area.

I'll wear my green suede Roger jacket.

Tanner treats Bond like an idiot.

I do love that Roger drive as Lotus in this one. Roger's car.
I think Pierce should have just stayed with one BMW, and Daniel should have had something other than the obligatory Aston Martin. A Bentley perhaps?

Bond and Q spends hours in the computer room until after Q branch closes for the night.
This is a Q scene I always loved.

Bond arrives in Cortina. My dad had a brown suede jacket similar to Roger's here back in the day.

My better half hates the Bibi character. She always comments on her when I have this Bond playing.

Bond is put on the spot to baby sit. That happened to Wally Cleaver in an episode of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER once and he unloaded the task on The Beav. Bond should have unloaded Bibi on Luigi.

    "Luigi, I'll see you later."

Roger had a great voice. Suave with nearly every line spoken.

Bond is not remotely interested in Bibi..........especially in her cowboy hat.

Even Eric ignores her when she calls out to him.

Ages ago, I had a friend who's older brother once told me: "ignore them, and they will come to you".

So the next day I went and practiced ignoring a girl I rather fancied.

Everyone in the elevator seems to notice Bond. Maybe the extras are just excited to be in the same shot with Roger.

Charles Dance is great. Silent and seems to pose a threat to Bond.

However, compared to the likes of Jaws, Scaramanga, or Tee-Hee, 007 needn't worry.

One element about the villains here, is compared to other adversaries, I don't feel Bond has much of a problem. Eric Kriegler is about as menacing as Hans, and dare I say, less memorable than Truman Lodge.
