So where does Bond go for a shit over 5 days in a sub..?

Probably not too comfortably or privately. Maybe Q had something rigged for him? Then again, maybe not. Payback for all those jokes about his shorts in YOLT.

I always liked the M scenes in the Glen Bonds. Bond immediately gives Q sh*t upon entering the office. I think Sir Rog is trying not to crack up and spoil Desmond's speech.

Lol! Maybe I should post this in the controversial topic, but I want to see a dirty old Daniel Bond seduce women young enough to be his granddaughter.
AVTAK is fun all the way thru. Roger oozes charm here with Kimberly Jones.

What a disgusting thing to say

It was a little over the top I must admit. Sarcasm over the Moore age jokes. I actually think Roger looks good in AVTAK. Sideburns trimmed since OP and he's a bit leaner.
The Chateau section now- St John Smythe.

The audience in the cinema roared with laughter every time Bond needled Tibbett. One of the main things I remember seeing this when it opened.

Bond mingling at the party spying on Zorin and Stacey. I like how he sneaks into that office and makes a copy of the check.

A lot of the Chateau scenes remind me of various Saint episodes.

Bond underwater breathing air from the tires. MacGyver would be proud.

Quiche de cabinet as cooked by James. Well, Fleming's Bond did eat a lot of eggs. Once again Bond here is MacGyver utilizing whatever he has handy. This time eggs, an oven and an oven safe plate. Also whatever junk Stacey had in the fridge to put into the omelet.

It's funny how Bond takes so long to reconnect the telephone Stacey falls asleep. Roger gets to sleep in the chair with the cat on his lap.

Fire truck chase. The guy on the right who gets his hat kicked off by Bond bares a slight resemblance to General Gogol.

This is all why i consider ,and always will, that this is 007's last mission before he retires...no matter what timelines etc come up..AVTAK is always Bond's last battle to me,thats how i view it.

I always felt Moore was playing Bond at his own age here despite that many may disagree. I actually think it's one of his best performances.
Mine sequence. Moore looks cool in the Zorin Industries jacket. The Barry score here is great. I love it!

This'll hurt him more than me..........
I think next time I laugh at someone I'll do that little nod Zorin does there when he's laughing at Bond.

Is Casino Royale the film where Bond jumps on to things the most? He does it about twenty times in the parkour sequence and twice at Miami airport. I'm only 45 minutes into the movie and he's jumping around like a madman.

The Miami sequence is an oft forgotten quality action sequence in the series. Bond losing his gun here is one of the few times it feels authentic rather than contrived.

I thought the incident at Miami airport including Bond being arrested and a man exploding - all covered by media apparently - would have effected the markets in a way that would have been a benefit to Le Chiffre? Maybe not as drastically as he wanted, but still negatively?

I remember thinking that moment in CR when Bond arrives at the hotel with Vesper and 007 gets a package and opens it - would be from a new Q. Instead of from M.

    OHMSS

I haven't seen it since the end of 2015 so it is time for another viewing, especially since it's my first time seeing it on my 65" 4K TV upscaled to 4K resolution by my blu-ray player.

18 minutes into the film we already get:
-Bond in an Aston Martin DBS
-Bond rescuing a Bond girl in distress
-Bond hand-to-hand fight, two of them
-Bond in a casino playing the cards
    -Bond smoking (in the casino)
-Bond checking into a luxurious hotel room
-Bond being in a glamorous place, Monte Carlo
-Bond getting into a car chase of sorts with Tracy before she walks into the sea
and I probably even forget this or that.

OHMSS is THE blueprint for any Bond film to follow that's for sure and OHMSS even manages to raise the level of watchability of its 5 predecessors as it expands the Bond universe quite a bit.

George Lazenby is perfect in my humble opinion and not being there when he replaced Connery, for me he is "just" another actor having a go at Bond, like Brosnan, Moore or Dalton and Connery.
Lazenby could very well be my favourite Bond after Dalton, had he made more than one film.

Also, the direction of the film is bloody brilliant. The cinematography and of course the score, which is the best in the series and even one of the best film scores ever.

I watched OHMSS a couple days ago and had a blast with it. It's one Bond film that never lets me down. Once I start it I have to see it all the way thru.
