I think we all are, but it occurred to me that there may be a few bits that we come to a consensus on that actually favor NSNA. Though nothing comes to mind. Better Largo, maybe; in terms of acting. Not presence, though.

That one will be close. I should be free almost all of that day since I took work off for that time. Hope we can all make a good time work.

Oddly enough I find the tone and style of the two films completely different. I find more similarities when comparing GF to OP or YOLT to TSWLM.

I do feel the underwater sequences are paced faster in NSNA than TB, but nowhere near as spectacular.
I love both versions of this story, though. It will be a blast watching them back to back again.

I got one as well, but it was scheduled for 3 am where I am. Sound asleep at that time.

Am flattered I was namechecked as well. And would have loved to been involved with my favourite Bond movie but time zones prevented, and anyway when watching OHMSS in particular I like no distractions!!

Are we able to edit the subject line whenever we have a new viewing scheduled so we can say, Bond comments while you watch NSNA viewing Dec 15 9pm eat or whatever?

December 15 works, but not sure about time. Are we doing TB then NSNA or the opposite? Break in between?

Is the 'A Terrorist Arms Bazaar on the Russian Border' the clunkiest title card in the Bond series?

    Ricky Jay (RIP)

Lots of exposition - rocket across the water reminds me of NSNA warheads.

As much as I like the idea of Bond causing havoc amongst an army of villains this PTS lacks a bit of panache, not surprised it's at the bottom of my Brosnan PTS rankings.

Am I right in thinking if they simply removed Rikcy Jay's presence this PTS would be a classic Bond cold opening without any connection to the main plot (they'll never do those again.)

The Devonshire destruction reminds me of the FYEO opening.

    Ahoy Gerard Butler!

Short break, I guess (15 min.). How do people feel about reverse order, just for a new spin? Someone set the time and I'll do my best to be a part of it. Just translate to CA time for me.

NSNA 7:00 Central (5:00 CA), TB 9:45 Central (7:45 CA)?

The massacring of the survivors makes for a nasty villain introduction. Carver shown in close up is effective. Would be better if they kept him hidden for slightly longer.

Carver is OTT from the first video conference call meeting.

Brushing up on a little Danish. Into Bond theme playing as the Aston Martin drives through the streets. Nicely done.

The scene with Bond, M, Moneypenny and Robinson in the police escorted car while 007 slugs back a whiskey is great fun. Exposition delivered with some style and energy.

I prefer Brosnan's "Bond James Bond" delivery at Carver's party to his one in GE.

Classic Bond baiting of a villain, Brosnan does perfectly with his delivery.

Bond shuts the power down. "Time for a station break" Carver gets riled up too easily for a Bond villain for my liking. They tend to role with the punches more easily and only getting riled up at the end (Goldfinger, Dr No, Zorin)

I agree. But he really doesn’t seem comfortable with it until DAD.

They're playing all the Brosnan's and Craig's every week for two months so I'll keep an eye out for his different deliveries. His one in GE is quite affected.

I never understood Paris' actions in TND. Let alone her heavy exposition dump about the easy access skylite hatch (kind of reminds me of Domino's revelation toward the end of Thunderball).

Dr Kaufman scene - I remember this scene standing out when I saw the film at the cinema.

I do enjoy this scene mixed in with the goons trying to break in to Bond's car.

Brosnan looming over dead females is among my least favourite elements of the series.
