    Orion pictures...

One thing that's going to be interesting is if we have different versions of the copy. Since NSNA is a release that has been butchered in the past. I know there are some copies that edit out the real horse being tossed in the lake.

You're listening to the soothing sounds of Lani Hall and Michel Legrand.

Best bond theme ever? I kid, I kid...

First time I saw this it was so jarring to have the theme playing over the opening sequence

I actually prefer this song over the Phyllis Hyman tune. I have a hard time picturing that over this sequence.

Yeah I was never crazy about this song either. It’s amusing to hear it while Connery takes down the bad guys though.

Tossed my blu-ray in my 4K player, seems to be a bit sharper actually. Excellent opening, marred by the awful title song and the fact that it's merely a training exercise, despite him obviously killing some of these guys.

Brownie points for how cool Connery looks in the jungle garb, too.

Hmm wonder how it would lineup if someone played Tom Jones while Adolfo Celi walked through Paris and into SPECTRE meeting room

I remember this opening in the cinema. The head butt made the audience laugh.

Replay of the training exercise is clearly just showing the daily's of that day's shooting :))

Love how this CCTV footage is obviously the footage we just watched (much like Blofeld's pictures used to "haunt" Bond during the SP finale obviously being images yanked from the films they starred in.)

I like his toupee in this one. The final film in which Sean appeared clean shaven.

Edward Fox is a decent M, though would have made a good villian

I may be in the minority, but I like Edward Fox's M. The reference to Bernard Lee's M, and his obvious distain, make him an interesting foil for Bond; I like this dynamic far more than the similar attempt at such a Bond/M relationship in SP.

I always liked Fox as M.

Bond in that blazer + turtleneck when first arriving at Shrublands, looking fantastic.

Fatima definitely has some of the more bizarre outfits of the series.

She's great, for sure - a real psychopath.
