Just in the Bregenz,Austria opera scene in QoS at the moment....i love this film more and more with every watch..it is going to shoot way up my rankings ,and i mean way up .

I think Greene is an under-rated villain,Mathew Almaric is brilliant in this.

Damn it Craig looks cool in the scene with Mathis at his villa...the way he smiles when Mathis' girlfriend chats away in Italian ,so you know that he understands her but says nothing...brilliant..

I love the shot of Bond climbing back up the fallen bridge and kicking Greene back, just to be thrown back himself by the ensuing explosion. Great fight.

Wow ...Lazenby's Bond is ruthless in the hotel fight scene, using elbows, the lot...i actually think he is tougher than Craig's Bond....i wonder how he would have got on with Hinx...love the way he has blood on his left eyebrow..the first time Bond showed he bled ?

I'm so pleased that ,regarding the 2 women who got to Bond's heart,Tracy and Vesper, the 2 films they are in ,OHMSS and CR,are such classics...the only 2 films Bond really weeps in...

Telly Savalas IS Blofeld....i know he would have cost a lot ,but you pay for the best, and surely GL was cheaper than Connery,so it would have balanced out for the next film.

GL has pushed Dalton into 6th place...he is just brilliant in this...and so fit and agile !!

Time for Bond to ski the hell away from Piz Gloria and warn London !!!!!

Love the way Blofeld drops the grenade in his toboggan but still manages to throw it at Bond...the two of them fighting ,this is how Bond n Blofeld are meant to be...this film is a treat ...the best Blofeld, best Bond girl, best chase (at least 20 mins long),a Bond that had such potential,a fantastic score,a great ally in Draco, and the most emotional ending in the whole series....and on that note,Mr & Mrs Bond are about to drive off into history...

I love Bond's wave to Moneypenny and then throws her the hat.

Wow that ending is emotional,i hate it when Bond breaks down in tears, ala OHMSS n CR..
Anyway..OHMSS is complete and it now hits my #1 for the first time and QOS shoots up about 12 places to #4 ...a productive double bill.

I guess the first time Bond bled was TB when shot at the Junkanoo? Fake blood in YOLT when shot in PTS and then OHMSS - first non gunshot bleeding. Did Moore's Bond ever bleed? I'm guessing FYEO on the coral in the keel hauling sequence.

Aaah of course ,the Junkanoo...as for Moore,he had a shoulder wound in TSWLM that bled.

He also had some bloodied bruises after his beating in DR NO. Moore had a bloodied mouth in TMWTGG, as well as the bite mark on his shoulder in TSWLM.

It's got a great playful score to I don't know why people dislike it. Barry is great at matching the score with the tone of the film

It's getting better for me but Goodnight and some of the humor around her doesn't do it for me. It is a charming Bond film though.

I liked TMTWGG more on this recent viewing but still don't like Hamilton's Style of directing, the chases are boring and fights poorly choreographed. It's ranking slightly higher this time but still in the bottom tiers

Moonraker on the other hand I quite enjoy. Sure it's silly (to put it mildly) in parts but the epic scope and score, locations are great. Also the dialogue is genuinely funny (hang on James... The thought had occurred to me) and Bond and Drax have a great repartee throughout. Moore even pulls off "a woman" without being offensive. I even like the Jaws humour (pulling steering wheel) but falling in love is going too far. I've placed it above TSWLM this time, both should make the top 10
