    "Shouldn't have had the fish"

I love this bit. Making the guy hold a bomb the entire night.

Nicole is excremented upon almost as much as Paula Caplan is.
She sounds like the little kid in Charade. Jean Louis.

I really hope Wright comes back for B25, he deserves a third appearance as Felix.

Let's hope that they can build an actual friendship this time.

True. They definitely have a respect for each other, but would love them to actually seem to enjoy their company.

Every EON bond casino has such elegance to it (thinking back to our OHMSS viewing last week). This one just looks a little dingy and less glamorous.

But they don't have a video game room!!!

This film feels the most dated from the 80,s Bond films

I'd sooner have another generic party/benefit than this whole video game-centric one, it's way too cheesy for my tastes.

Connery just looks great in his suits and dinner jackets. He hasn't lost that ability to look casual in the dressiest outfits.

His "Bond, James Bond" seems a bit off uncharacteristically here for some reason.

The film is well shot though the sets undermine the film

Never liked the arcade game stuff in this film.

It’s probably not right for Bond, under any circumstance.

It's very dated, but I like the tension in the scene, despite the very 80's tech on display.

No one was watching when they first walked in, now a ton of spectators.

He is pretty much explaining himself there with that delivery. Apologizing for perving on her earlier.

This game is dumb, the effects don't stand up well at all

Ah yes, that's true. That explains the tone.

    How did it happen? Lol.

Yeah there’s some decent tension here, but the video game stuff seems quite weird for a Bond scene.

I like the casino set here. I think it was a real casino. The sets are pretty naturalistic compared to Ken Adam or Peter Lamont.

Why does Basinger have a smile on her face. Is she attempting to look worried and failing? They shouldn't have focused on her

I actually like the game. I vividly remember this in the cinema.

The voice on that game really reminds me of ROB 64 from Star Fox 64.

See, this is the difference between Connery and Moore in 1983. Sean asks for the dance and leaves money on the table. Rog demanded cash and still got the girl.

I wonder if Roger might have attempted some break-dancing here. He could have put on his AVTAK tracksuit.
