Apple on the statue. Casually pulls out the Walther. Vintage Connery.

Sorry guys. I like the jazzy score here, and Connery moves damn well for a 53 year old.

The film desperately needed this action scene after a slow video game sequence and dance sequence after.

The jazz score doesn't help the scene. Thankfully it's mostly played silent. However, when it kicks in later it's kind of cool.

I may end up preferring this over DAF this time around. It’s a close call.

I like this part of the score.

Probably my favorite action scene of the film. Just that blasted soundtrack. A Barry score would have done wonders for this movie.

Love this scene. Both Connery and Carrera at the top of their game.

Outfit is so absurd, love it.

This is a part I can never really get over, so clearly shoehorned in to get his rocket pen over.

She has some great facial expressions here.

Love her cackly laugh before she blows.

My good movie friend, who is older than me and has seen every single Bond film in the theatre on opening night (and who gets me the Academy screeners) lists Fatima's flaming shoes as one of his Top Ten Bond moments.
It's a great one, made all the better because of the great stuff beforehand.

I love that confrontation...........but this bit with Leiter is the greatest scene in movie history.

ANother odd Bond outfit choice that only Connery could pull off

Casey doesn't too badly either with those shoes.

Bond's robe looks like his hotel suite furniture in DR NO.

This control room looks like something out of the 70's. Could be from DAF.

    Cheesefest music again.

My buddy and I would watch Bond films every week or so and would jam on the guitar to this bit of music. It's pretty obnoxious but funny.

Largo losing it here reminds me of Dominic in QoS. Both a little insecure about their women.

So many of those '50s, '60s and '70s black American football stars went into film (Bernie Casey, Woody Strode, OJ, Jim Brown, Jim Kelly, and a lot more).

Jim Kelly is a favorite. Black Belt Jones, Enter the Dragon, Black Samurai all excellent

A sweater tied around the neck. That wonderful '80's trend.
