    Patrice's dick'n'balls gun.
Interesting to note how less frenetic the editing is after QOS.

Bond smashing his bike and flying onto the train is pretty damn cool - as the bars of the Bond them the accompany it tell us.

One thing I’ve come to appreciate more about TMWTGG is its small scale and simplicity. Currently enjoying it quite a bit more than I have in a long time.

Bond shooting the cuffs is quality. The inventiveness of the digger keeping the carriages connected is good.

The tension from when Moneypenny says 'I may have a shot' until Bond hits the water is excellent. Good editing pace and shot choices. Harris does very well here too.

Into one of the best examples of title songs combining with title visuals.

Love those bond bars sneaking into the start of the second verse

I think we should all take a moment to appreciate that the Bond films still have long artful opening titles with a theme song...are there any other film series that do that?

@Major_Boothroyd Great choice. SF is still one of my absolute favorites.

Yes @FoxRox - I really enjoy it too. Love its unique themes and Deakins cinematography.

it just happened to be on tv so am going to enjoy it with ad breaks and all!

@FoxRox - are you kicking back to watch TMWTGG? Not one of my faves but there are elements I really like and I have a particular fondness after visiting James Bond Island last year

    Scorpion drinking games...

Between CGI scorpion in SF and the glass pane on Connery in DN - They never want to seem to have Bond being touched by spiders!

@Major_Boothroyd Yup; I'm at the scene Bond hides Goodnight in the closet. I agree it also isn't one of my favorites, but for the first time in several watches it's been an above-average watch for me. It's flawed, but does have some good stuff.

Christopher Lee is excellent. His demeanour in the finale when Bond arrives and has dinner is actually very subtle. Seeking approval yet acting superior and justifying his life. It's wonderful stuff.

Agreed. From the time Bond arrives on the island through the end is certainly the best part. I love the duel. The stuff before is a bit of a mixed bag, but Lee is definitely a great villain.

"Well you're bloody well not sleeping here." Good delivery from Dench.

Dench and Craig really had a great three film run. CR was about him, QOS was about them and SF is about her.

The mystery of what exactly Skyfall is or means is an asset to the film. It's easy to forget but that being used in the trailer had some nice intrigue to it. Rather than in Spectre we all already knew what the mystery was...

I like Bond's disdain at the bulldog surviving the explosion

I think Fiennes works better in SF because he's in between Dench and Craig questioning them with his motives uncertain as far as the audience knows.

Rather than just having the wool pulled over his eyes by everyone in SP (Bond, Q, C)

    Q scene...

"You must be joking" love that it's Bond's first line to Q once he knows his identity.

Shanghai sequence is beginning...a thing of beauty. Deakins on astounding form.
