    Hahahaha that would have been a serious error - ive seen part of the script and it ends with Bond leading an armada of yachts after Blofeld's brother...naff.

    Oh he did a good job,but I would have preferred him to have been another villain in another film,rather than Blofeld.

    Gray's good but he's a far cry from the "true" sinister Blofeld of FRWL and TB.

    My preferred Blofeld is FRWL and TB, though at some point they had to put a face to the character. I always see Joseph Wiseman as my ideal Blofeld.

    Watching DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER right now.
    At the Zambora sequence. Kind of makes me wonder what it would have been like in 1971 to see this Bond in the cinema, or to just have been around then. Definitely a turning point in fashions. Some characters like Mr Kidd are sporting the new longer hair, some have huge sideburns, yet there are several kids in the audience for Zambora that look straight out of the 1950's. The water balloon attendant is definitely old school, almost looks like a 1940's character actor.
    The Blu-ray is impressive and looks fairly close to the 35mm print I saw some years ago at least in terms o the contrast.

    That's funny. Some of Sid Haig's facial expressions in DAF remind me of a young John Travolta.

    If what i have heard is right (and im sure one of my American cousins will correct me if im wrong ) most of 1971 Las Vegas is gone.

    Although Circus Circus is still going strong i believe.

    Time for LIVE AND LET DIE! For some strange reason I sometimes feel compelled to watch this one not long after viewing OHMSS. Been quite awhile so here goes.............
    What I wouldn't give for a Blu-ray or DVD release to someday feature the original UA Transamerica logo.

    I always thought Roger's haircut looked great in LALD, especially the shot of him serving M coffee. Good taper. I wonder if he said to his barber "I'll have a medium length James Bond haircut: tapered, not squared."?

    Hands down my favorite Bond, James Bond in the series (though Dr No is the most legendary). Tee-Hee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Solitaire is easily one of my favorite Bond girls if not THE favorite.

    The obligatory Bond in his hotel room seeking listening devices and bugs MUST come back.
    Roger Moore used to burn hands with his cigar on The Saint.
    Even though many claim it wasn't until TSWLM that Roger became Bond I disagree. He nailed it from the get go and is as cool as f**** in LALD.

    Another great screening of LALD. Pretty much finished up all the Roger Bonds in the past few months.Maybe I'll start watching the Seans again soon?
