I truly love THUNDERBALL. It rotates with GOLDFINGER as my #1.
Although any of the first four can have that spot, really.

Bond escapes Fiona and is shot in the process. I love the Junkanoo bit. Reminds me of the scene in MR. Now if DAD and SP incorporated similar scenes, I'd appreciate those movies more. Should have been a 4th outing tradition, IMO.

SP has The Day Of the Dead.

Bond and Domino have a rendezvous underwater doing every position imaginable with scuba gear on.

    I'm being naughty.
I remember the ABC network used to trim that scene.

This scene here is one of my favorites in the series as Bond explains to Domino her bro was murdered.

Bond puts on his shades. Okay I don't think he's hiding a tear, but is distancing himself emotionally to convince her to help.

I do think the skin tones are spot on in this old school edition. A bit soft, though.

Connery swallows the pill. I think that's his real hair in that scene. Kind of look like his NSNA do.

Felix has yet another loud shirt on. I think someone should produce THUNDERBALL replicas of Felix's amazing shirts in this film. Maybe one of the Bond fan clothing websites?

Domino is caught and tortured. The dialogue is different in this version.

Good point! That counts. SP will go up a few notches in my rankings just for that.

Bond is sitting on his a$$ waiting for Felix just like in most of GOLDFINGER.

This Felix is a more reliable.

I really want an obnoxious shirt like Felix's here. I'd rock that. He also has a cool Clint Eastwood pompadour. Reminds me of Clint's on RAWHIDE.

...........and the underwater battle climax begins. Good stuff here!

Bond with his underwater jet pack! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 007 Theme here is wonderful. I love all the sea creatures we see during this battle.

I remember my dad telling me when he was in college studying oceanography, there was a text book with an odd photo of a Mariana trench viper fish that had two heads. One on each end of the body, and that the body itself was long like an electric eel. I'd give anything to see that photo. He didn't remember which book it was in.

This version ends with a TB arrangement of the Bond theme rather than the DN recording. Much better transition, IMO.

    Great viewing YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching SKYFALL x the credit sequence with Adele’s song is truly brilliant

M seriously cocked up when Bond was fighting Patrice ,he was winning even though he was injured.

The lyrics in SKYFALL are interesting re BOND 25 : ‘you can have my number, you can take my name’

Always though the titles rather overcooked myself! And Craig looks rather awkward in it! Thought he appeared better in MK12 QOS titles, and I much prefer them to Kleinmans work here!

    Spoilsport !!

Love the way Bond can’t look in the mirror until the quick glance at the end as he takes his painkillers.

Patrice's bullet really took its toll.

I love this Q/007 scene....Newmans score here is so much better than SP as well....so annoying they didnt create a new score for SP.

TBH Newmans score with the opening shots of Shanghai is beautiful ,and as Bond follows Patrice .
I'm trying to listen to the score a lot more and i think i was wrong about him re SF.
It just goes to show what a mess SP score is .

Great stuff with the Bond vs Patrice fight in sillouhette.
You have to realise how close to the edge they are, both could have gone over the side !!

Great to hear the SF tune coming through when Bond approaches the casino - hats off to Newman..how could he go from this score to SP rubbish.

Is the cigarette smoke coming out of Severine's nose meant to simulate the chinese dragons doing the same in the opening credits - a great touch if it does, and this is how i always see it.

Love the homage to RogerBond jumping on the crocodiles in LALD as Bond uses the kimono dragon as a springboard.

    And,as i said elsewhere,great CGI - looks totally real to me .

They are going to have to come up with something original re Madeleine talking to Blofeld in B25,as this has already happened brilliantly with M and Silva.

The beautiful Aston....great music from Newman, and this got a massive clap from the audience, and when Bond threatened to eject M one massive audience laugh !!!

Albert Finney is just pure class..."hello Emma"...

The look on Silva's face as he destroys the DB5 is classic,he knows Bond loves that car - and Bond's fury shows on his face - the disgust.

The sillhouette of Bond running with Skyfall burning behind him is a fantastic image,so clever, and powerful.

Definately part of QOS score as Silva looks at the grave and walks to the chapel entrance.
