Bond snapping the door handle, the kind of thing Connery Bond would do. This film is a billion times better than what followed

Bond confronted by QUANTUM agents in the lobby, this film truly has moments of greatness.

The plane sequence is off the chart, this is SPECTRE attacking Bond done well, Arnold's music is phenomenal

When the SPECTRE plane backs off then comes in for a third attack, the shot the music is absolute perfection

Time to watch LALD in honor of the late David Hedison.

I know you can't just glue the wings back on. Now Mr Bleeker I'm sure there's no need for name calling.

On of my favorites. @MooseWithFleas , I was in Philly a couple of weeks ago, but my time was so limited at that point that I didn't bother to try to set up a few drinks or something. Hopefully next time.
Summer has been quite busy! Hope you're well @Birdleson - would love a Philly group meet-up in the future.

Aww... Poignant moment when Hedison says "Hell of a send off" after Strutters 'New Orleans Funeral's. Great shot of just Rog and David next to each other, now both in the big cutting room in the sky as Sir Roger used to call it.

But the adventure continues. Two sazeracs, where's you're sense of adventure James!? This is New Orleans, relax.

State police officer at the bridge setting up the block is the same from DAF. I can just hear him saying "I gotcha now!" As the boat approaches like he did when Connery's car goes into the alley in DAF

The pacing of LALD is so good. Even the action heavy last third has good bits of levity in between, which is one of the reasons I think JW works here. And my fav Leiter appearance. The scene at the docks after the boat chase is a great moment of comic relief to catch your breath before the finale

Correct again Mr. Bond, what a quick study you are.
Love Yaphet. Great delivery to his lines.

Sophie Marceau is so electric in this film -- sexy, vulnerable yet commanding and enigmatic.
