I actually don't mind the PTS; Bond is rather brutal on his path to find Blofeld, and while the action with Blofeld's goons is rather tame, it's a pretty unique way of kicking things off, with the clones and mudbath and whatnot. I love the title song, as well, wraps it all up quite nicely.

One of the moments I don't really care for would be this moon buggy chase through the desert, which is happening right now. I'd say a good six or seven separate vehicles pursue him, and he does nothing to combat them, simply allowing them to take themselves out as he casually escapes the area and flees with Tiffany. However, I am a fan of the nighttime Vegas chase, sans the obvious two-wheel-stunt goof.

Im glad you think that,as you say it kicks things off well ,and to be fair ,it does keep that level up throughout the film.
You can tell they were trying to raise cinemagoers spirits in this film, after the depressing ending of OHMSS.

I love the magically-appearing gloves as Mr. Kidd gets caught on fire on the ship at the end of the film, too.

I'm a pretty big DAF fan myself. However, it's the elements that usually get slammed I like: Charles Gray's Blofeld, Sean's physical appearance, Sean's performance, etc.

Ow,yes they do hahaha...although contrary to that i have some framed ,cut ,film-reel clippings from a Moore,Brosnan and Craig Bond film in my bedroom, but the reel clipping that is only one of something like 500 in the world is Connery in DAF,i cant remember the scene,i would have to look, might be the craps table with Plenty...how mad is that haha ?

Plenty is the kind of woman that does nothing for me. I probably would hide under the craps table in fear I get struck dead by her huge knockers!
Having said that I could give a her a good polish with my carpet beater and throw her out the balcony afterwards. And I wouldn't know there was a pool down there.

so you basically make comments while watching the movie, I can do that.

is there group watching? some comments seem to be of simultaneously watched movies.
    That would be interesting!

    You lovely and silly people!

I and my best friend Tomi depart in 8 hours to an adventure, travelling the world for 14 weeks.

It has been planned for some weeks, but I only learned of it yesterday. Incidentally my best friend, Tomi and I know each other exactly 25 years to this day !

I loved this man to bits since I first laid eyes on him when I met him in the army barracks. The kind of bond we have is hard to describe and he also is the leader of our group of 5 brothers-in-arms.

There is a reason for this long trip. I need to heal and become whole again. I am broken and tormented and it has gotten worse during the last couple of months.

Among the different places we will go to, Tomi will take me to a spiritual place where he believes I can learn to heal and become whole again.
We will spend most of the time outdoors, on water, on snow, on mountains. We will meet people and we will be alone in remote places where we have freedom and can be ourselves, do nothing and listening to our heartbeats and breathe, just breathe.

I couldn't have left without doing this special message to you guys.

I love you all, you are wonderful people and we have shared our troubles, sorrows and good things with each other, something I really appreciate. We are friends, all of us.

You @barryt007 I love most (yeah, I'm entitled to pick favourites :)) ) you know why, no need to explain the naughty details to the group here ;)

Guys, I will miss you greatly. And I know you are all glad for me, for the opportunity I get to finally heal and become happy again. I have never lost my humour and wit, but deep inside I am an unhappy and broken man, even if it don't show on the outside.

Guys! When I return I expect this thread to be buzzing and full of "live" comments on your many viewings of the Bond films. And remember! I will not be able to watch a Bond film until May, blood hell! :))

@barryt007 you shall watch Kara "Brain dead" Milovy going hoochie coochie on Bond in the big wheel! And just for you, your favourite scene of the bloody film:

have a great trip @BondJasonBond006 - we'll miss you around here. You start good threads and share passionate comments. I hope you have a fantastic time and find that inner peace. Great that you're doing it with such a good friend too. Shame you won't be able to watch Bond for three months though! But if you're in snowy conditions - put on the OHMSS soundtrack! Safe travels.

Ever since I noticed it, I laugh every time that Bond lightens Tibbett's load by removing the umbrella from his possession...still leaving him with all of Bond's other shit to carry and unpack.

EDIT: After the attack in the mines during AVTAK, we get a shot of Zorin and Scarpine in a rail cart together, where Zorin whips his helmet in the air. Anybody else ever notice how right before the scene cuts, he seems to shout "WAIT!" and immediately turn around? He could be yelling something else, but it just seems odd, like he forgot about something in the mine, and then immediately disregarded it to fire up the blimp and escape.

No,he shouts 'AWAY !!" and then throws away the helmet,as he is so confident everything is a success...listen to it again @Creasy47...

That's why we Bond fans work so well together....one misses something, the other provides the answer, and vise versa ;)

And the beauty of the comment's thread i created here is that the question can be answered 'as you watch !'

It amazes me how decades after first becoming a fan of the series, there are still new things and bits of dialogue I'm picking up on.
