The late Cassandra Harris, good role for her!
She has more chemistry with Roger than Carole imo!

Lisl has a nasty death here!

Colombo, marvellous character! Topol really makes an impression! It was Cubbys wife, Dana, who suggested him for the role apparently!

Warehouse attack! One of the highlights of the movie, could have been a climax, its that good!

    Rogers 'uncomfortable' killing of Locque!
Dalton would probably have shot him first and then kicked him over the edge!

Contis instrumental version of the theme is lovely!

    Max the parrot!

If Melina was the only one who could read her Fathers special type...why did she show it to Bond first?

Contis Bond theme is pretty cool here!

The sunkenSt. George appears and Contis music swells!

Underwater sequences are hard to make exciting, but Bonds fight with the J.I.M. diving suit and escape before bomb ignites is well done here!
The extra bit with the nerdy guy, who looks a bit like Baldrick!!, (i've got a not so cunning plan!") in the submersible is unnecessary!

    Highlight of the film,
The Keelhauling set piece! Brilliantly done, from Flemings LALD novel, but they couldn't figure out how to do it for the film, but they nailed it here!

Max the parrot gives the game away for the villains!
A lesson to be learned for future villains!!!

Q reappears for an amusing scene!

And so to the climax! An unusual one from the spectacular outer space battle from MR, but it is most satisfying, great mountain climbing scene, and Rick (TSWLM) Sylvester gets to shine again!
And John Glens bird surprise makes its first appearance!

General Gogol, one of the all time endearing characters of the series!

Kristatos, like Silva is to get, gets a knife in the back, though more satisfying here, than in SF!

Slo mo shot of the A.T.A.C. being destroyed!
    Gogol has a laugh
    Bibi gets a new sponsor!

Impressionist Janet Browns Maggie Thatcher, she was never any good at it, was Rory Bremner around then? Why is Denis reaching for a raw brussel sprout?
Bonds and Melinas moonlight swim, I hope they dont frighten the fish!
Great viewing of FYEO, really does need reappraisal!

Ah, thanks mate. Really enjoy reading yours, thought I'd have another go!
Not as easy as people think!

Yeah it's difficult, but it's a great write up! Agreed on the warehouse scene, it could have been the climax of the film, very suspenseful. The keelhauling scene is great too! I'm beginning to like Conti's score more, however I still think a Barry score would've suited the tone of the film better.

Here we go. Been intending to do some Bonding lately, but life has intruded.
In the mood for a later film, and since I'm in the camp that believes we're getting a new Bond movie next month, I'll go with

    SPECTRE.

One of Craig's most Bondian moments is his stroll along the rooftops.

Craig looks damned good in this one.

I noticed he ditched his skeleton attire quicker than Roger ditched his gorilla costume.
That was a quick change if ever the was one.

    A superb PTS.

Bond meets C and immediately dislikes him. Craig must be the most relatable Bond, as I've been in that type of job situation many times.

I absolutely LOVE Bond's film noir like apartment.
I'm also loving the cinematography this time. I actually like the warm yellowish hue.

Craig's hair is spot on in this one. I should get mine cut like that next time.
Ben Whishaw is my 2nd favorite Q. He's superb in the role.
    Great Q scene as well.

I tend to forget every other scene is a Scooby Gang scene.
    Shit .

Of course we get the wonderful Monica Bellucci, my favorite Craig era Bond girl in a secondary role.
    Damn.

She inspires me to up this in my rankings already.

The moment where he takes care of her assassins is nothing short of superb. As Bondian as one can get.

The Lucia seduction isn't bad either.

The reference to Felix is a gem as well.

007 crashed the SPECTRE meeting and gets called out in front of everyone.
    That's quite creepy, actually.
Good first shot of Waltz's face.

Here's the legendary, iconic Rome chase.

    Of course!!!!! Mr. White!

Bond's gadgets backfire. That's pretty funny.
