    Reminds me of Bond's hotel suite furniture in DR NO.

    The sweater Bond wears over the striped polo in Palmyra reminds me of the Universal Studio's FRANKENSTEIN MONTER. It's actually gray, but looks greenish on the other transfer.

    If Ken Sharrock's TLD jailer haircut is all the rage now in 2021, I predict by the time we get B26 in 2031, Brandauer's hairstyle will have made a HUGE comeback. Everyone will be wearing their hair like Largo's in NSNA.

    Still, the UK version wisely cuts straight to the splash, and in all honesty, it looks much better that way, IMO.

    Fun viewing. I could've gone to work tonight, but it's Connery's birthday so I declined and chose to watch NSNA instead. The sacrifices one makes while being a Bond fan................. I worked my other job during the day, anyway.

    Interestingly, GoldenEye was originally announced for summer of '95 until further re-writes pushed it back to November. I remember being gutted we'd have to wait another 5-6 months. Imagine how I would've responded to NTTD's never ending delays back then. I'd love to see the Bonds return to a summer release. actually. We almost got one with QoS.
    An October release reminds me of NSNA.

    In the States it was definitely October. October 7th, I believe.
    I think it may have had a December release elsewhere. Maybe the UK?

    Excellent. I would have actually seen it on October 8th as my folks took me, opening weekend, Saturday matinee.
    If I don't get opening day of NTTD off, then I'll have to go the following Saturday.
    However, things are looking good for me to go opening day.

    One of the best PTS openings IMO, as well as one of the best "Bond, James Bond" intros.

    After watching SPECTRE and in preparation for NTTD, which I imagine, may have some inspiration drawn from this film, I need to see the real thing.

    This casino sequence is one of my all time favorites. George is pretty suave at the baccarat table.
    Diana Rigg remains one of my all time favorite Bond women.
