It is hard to believe now, but prior to the release of TSWLM, there were some that doubted the long term future of BOND….JAMES BOND.

    CASINO ROYALE

In the mood for a Craig outing now as I get more excited for the new film by the day.
Great PTS. Very noirish in style. Love the black and white.
    Wonderful.
    Craig's best gunbarrel pose, IMO.
Kleinman's best title sequence by far, IMO.

The crane sequence is my favorite action/stunt scene in the Craig era.

Bond is kicking everyone's ass at the embassy.
    Love this scene.

I think I prefer M's SKYFALL flat to this one. Still, it's a nice home.
    Wonderful M scene.
Bond gets reamed a new one.

Bond stepping off the plane then driving is the definition of cool here.

    Solange is quite striking.

Bond thinks it's funny Richard Branson is stopped by security.

Craig had wonderful chemistry with Dench.

    I'm the money.
    Every penny of it.

I had a friend who assumed that this meant she was Moneypenny. He didn't see this film until it got a DVD release. To this day, I think he still believes Eva Green is playing Moneypenny.

He more or less thinks Bond movies are crap.

I love the bit as they arrive at the hotel.

I wish Madeleine had the super power ability to size Bond up upon first glance.
Bond's suits might have actually fit.

Mendel is my favorite character. I love his little speech explaining the rules.

The stairwell fight. This is right up there with Grant.

Craig's hair looks a little different during the scene with Mathis on the terrace.
I love the sweater/gray trousers combo Bond wears.
I think this film has some of the best casual outfits for Bond in any of the films.
    Timeless, classic and very stylish.
    I hope NTTD lives up.

Bond mopped the floor with Le Chiffre.
Now it's time for a romantic dinner of scrambled eggs, toast and caviar.

This torture scene is not only the greatest torture scene in a Bond film, but the greatest torture scene in film history.

    SKYFALL

Watching this one in an effort to definitively decide if I prefer this or CR.

Bond looks like Joe Friday here, only blond.

This is the city. Istanbul, Turkey.
    I work here. I carry a PPK.

I love the PTS, and actually the lack of a gunbarrel didn't make me angry enough to morph into the HULK this time.

I am really digging Craig's Jack Webb haircut in the PTS. He looks great here.

I also love that he's a bit older and more chiseled.
