Ooooops!
Delighted to see Jeffrey Wrights Felix Leiter back in NTTD! Missed him in the last 2 movies!
Never really liked this section, the only weak point in the movie for me!
"Congratulations" in my best Vesper voice
Presume its Paul Haggis writing here?
I wonder has it been beaten since?
Again brave of them to stage it straight from the book! The production designs for this scene really matched here.
Not as cringey as the one in GE!
DoP Phil Meheaux
Campbell has Vesper wear red just like the little girl in 'Dont Look Now!'
A lot of people think this climax is overblown, but it is well staged and exciting!
Green is superb here
How did he retrieve the money?
He must be a good swimmer!
Perfect set up
Perfect final sequence!
NTTD is going to have to go some way to even match this! But am optimistic, and really looking forward to it!
Really? @Mathis1
I really love the sequence because it really does the suspense well. Love the cutting between Bond and the MI6 experts hunched over Bond’s vital signs!
Some good dialogue with Vesper after Bond recovers as well.
Just felt it was rather out of place.
Plus Bond staggering into the traffic was rather unconvincing to me!
Its not a huge thing, the rest of the movie is still exemplary to me!
Cheers Mate.
Hard enough doing them on your own and the movie always seems to fly by!!
MOONRAKER
Always thought Barry's gunbarrel score was unique for this film. Those opening chords are very MOONRAKER.
Kim Fortune (not to be confused with Kim Richards) is back front and center.
He obviously survived getting shot several times in the back.
Great miniature work by Derek Meddings.
