Bond looks like Kermit the Frog during the torture scene.

This final act in London is very odd, but I'm quite enjoying it on this viewing.

The tone and music of this film reminds me a bit of HITMAN starring Olga Kurylenko.
I should revisit that film sometime.

Kind of a bittersweet period in my life when SPECTRE was released.
I was about to leave the city I grew up in and relocate with my now dearly departed beloved one.
It was a goodbye to my past and the life I knew. A whole new future on the horizon. I suppose kind of like Bond leaving with Madeleine in this film.
I never did look back or even revisit my hometown.
I wonder what the future holds now?
Either way, wonderful viewing of SPECTRE.

Tangier scenes and more yellow filtering. This scene in the hotel makes the pacing of the third act in TLD look like the PTS of QoS.
Bond and Madeleine just arrived at the hotel.
I'm going to travel the world by foot, swim across the Atlantic, hitch hike home, and by the time I get back Bond should be chatting with the little mouse.

I kinda like that scene. Love the shot looking over the Tangier nighttime.

I enjoyed that scene last night, actually. One thing I appreciated on this viewing was the chemistry between Craig and Seydoux. I've grown to love Madeleine character over time.

    Scooby Gang time.
Instead of going to bed after a long work night I've popped in

    SPECTRE.

    My least watched Bond film.
Compared to previous years, so far Bond has been taking a back seat.
Perhaps my enthusiasm for Bond has waned since we're yet again in the early stages of yet another gap?
Perhaps as there is no current incumbent Bond I feel a void, and hence have put 007 on the back burner for a bit?
Who knows? But when I do watch a Bond it tends to be a less popular entry.
    Hence this one.

Bond has snuck into White's domain.
    This scene is pretty dramatic.

Wow, we seem to be on the same page! I, too have been hankering for lesser entries in the series to me! Watched TWINE lately and now expecting to watch TND (mainly because have just read about original plans for Bond 17, with Dalton, which TND seems to be based on!)

Damn the Hinx fight was good.
Can't believe I never appreciated it as much before.

My favourite fight scene in the series! Was blown away by it in the cinema, wasn't expecting it at all!
Still like SP, especially since I was so underwhelmed by SF. I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more, and like yourself, appreciating the end London scenes more now, than I used to!

My favourite bit in the film. It's fast, brutal and beautifully edited.

Top fight of the series for me is Bond vs Grant. But the Hinx fight is a close second. Shame it wasn't in a better film..

Yaphet Kotto...Great actor. The Mr Big in the novel was far more interesting though.

Bond sitting in the bathtub just seems wrong! Fleming's Bond was always a shower kind of guy 😁

Tried that once with an aerosol and a lighter. It worked just like in the film..😁

The useless Rosie. Completely crap and unnecessary character.

The airport action sequence is pretty lame.

Although Moore looks cool in his black shirt/belge trousers combo...

Love this version of 'Live And Let Die' in the bar.

This scene scared the crap out of me at 6 years old. I thought Kananga was actually pulling his face off! Moore and Kotto are great in this scene.
