It went the same as it always did. Some appreciation here and there, particularly for the cinematography, but not much else to keep me interested.

Yes, right in the 23rd spot. I'd honestly be surprised if it ever goes any higher than that.

I love the gunbarrel in that film as well.

    Me, too. Great music there.

I've just watched both the PTS's for TLD and LTK myself on YouTube. Of the two, TLD seems better in my view. LTK's one has its moments but its a tad overblown (they could have trimmed the gunfight). The TV movie vibe is also clear too with the cheap looking interior set of the villa and the fairly bland way the Florida Keys seem to be portrayed.

Hedison also seems pretty bad in it too.

The music though is very good.

The one for TLD seems much sharper and shot in a more thrilling way, although I'm not a fan of the final minute on the boat.

I know. If I didn't know, I would think I'm watching an episode of Miami Vice.

I enjoyed this viewing of LTK. The Blu-ray, as beautiful as it is, doesn't quite look as the film did in cinemas, though IMO. The theatrical prints had a LOT of grain (especially the shot of Bond and Sharkey "what a waste.... of money"). Also the casino sequence had a reel change where the quality of the film stock completely changes.
Funny I remember that after..... going on 28 years now. I saw the film 11 times when released.

Watching SP and just realised ,after the brilliant gun barrel opening ,that the words 'The dead are alive' must be referring to Oberhauser/Blofeld.

Yes,i know im probably nearly 2 years slow on the uptake haha !!

And the way CraigBond walks across those rooftops is brilliant.

The Spectre PTS is the best PTS of all time, followed closely by Goldfinger.

Funny enough, TSWLM is the only Bond film I give a pass for tampering with the traditional GB Bond Theme arrangement. It annoys me to no end with the Brosnan and Craig films, but here I forgive and forget. Maybe because it seems like such a one-off? Still, it's my least favorite GB music in the Moore Bonds.

Fair enough matey...but RogerBond in this is in ruthless form,i forgot how much...love the Pyramid show scene (as ive been there and witnessed it myself ,only in German when i was there in Cairo)....but why oh why not pocket Fekkesh's diary rather than leave it for the Russians !!

And i love RogerBond's reaction to Amasova's comments about Tracy.
