A more recent photo of “Saida.” Yeah, she still has her charm. :D

I wonder if she has any other acting credits, only ever seen Carmen in this film.

“Lazar” is played (very well BTW) by Marne Maitland (1914-1992). He had even worked with Christopher Lee before in a film called “The Terror of the Tongs” (1961). That film also starred the lovely Yvonne Monlaur who eventually screen tested for the role of Domino Derval in TB.

Lazar putting down the “massed produced” work of the Q branch here is really funny.

I have probably seen her in several shows without realising.

In the 2012 documentary “Everything or Nothing”, actress Maud Adams is on camera stating that she disagreed with the attempt to “toughen up” Roger Moore in TMWTGG. I agree. After years of TV roles where Moore played a charming man, his screen persona was well established at this point. In short, this change doesn’t really work.

Bond too rough here, I recall Sir Roger not liking this scene, if memory serves.

Actress Wei Wei Wong (1948-1999) plays the woman at the Bottoms Up Club.

I miss Ken Adams sets, It would have been interesting to see what he could have done with TMWTGG.

Interestingly, while I don't find TMWTGG to be one of Barry's better scores, the score to the boat ride to the RMS Queen Elizabeth is on my old "best of Bond" mix tape. I really like it.

    I love that music, too.
