They could have done a decent boat chase here, but they go for silly humour instead

I like it when Bond just kicks this guy in the face, no messing about.

Bit like Indiana Jones shooting the guy before the intended duel in Raiders!

I thought that watching the scene, in Indy they did that scene due to Ford being ill at the time.

😂 No doubt Tarantino was inspired by this film.

Speaking of elephants, apparently Harry Saltzman thought there was going to be a major scene in the film involving an elephant stampede, and commissioned 200 special shoes for them! No such scene was ever envisioned by the writers!

Lee had terrible trouble putting the gun together, so Hamilton had to keep cutting away when he was doing it!

Watching Scaramanga constructing is gun is great when you start to realise what he is doing.

I love Britt though the writing does her no favours in this film.

... and with all due respect to @j_w_pepper, the re-introduction of JW Pepper is where I start to lose it.

Clifton James was quite a gifted actor. I remember him (mostly) from "David and Lisa" (1962) which starred Keir Dullea and Janet Margolin (one of my imaginary GFs when I was about 12 years old!).

Is this Sir Rogers worst Bond film?

Cubby wasn't keen on hiring Britt, because she hadn't got a fuller figure, but changed his mind after seeing her in 'The Wicker Man' little realising she had a body double in the nude scenes! 😁

    BINGO!!!
She was great in Get Carter (1971), After the Fox (1966) and The Wicker Man (1973) is top-notch. Here.... not so much.

Britt appeared to have a fuller figure in The Wicker Man, I did not realise Britt had a body double.

This is quite a mean spirited film, Bond really is a prat at times.

She was pregnant and didn't want to do a full nude scene

Even as a teenager, this scene seemed wrong.
    Just plain wrong!

When I was a boy I was brought up in a circus. My only real friend was a huge, magnificent African bull elephant. One day, his handler mistreated him and he went berserk. Bleeding, dying, he came and found me, stood on one leg, his best trick, picked me up and put me on his back. The drunken handler came along and emptied his gun into his eye... I emptied my stage pistol into his!

For all the grief I give TMWTGG, it does have it's moments.
