This would be a much better film without Jaws

Plumbing the depths. Bond dressed as Clint Eastwood and the Magnificent 7 theme...

Some nice explosions during the boat chase.

Barry uses the 007 theme again.

Quite like the Python scene. Atmospheric set and more great music from Barry.

Chasing the Globes. A good tense sequence. 'Use the force, James..' 😁

    Good comments, mate!

It's amazing, Meddings and his team deployed effects with the simplest of ideas ( salt trailing out of the model shuttle!) Using a shotgun to blast them for the destructive finale!

That's correct mate. So innovative. It's a testament to the incredible talents of Meddings and his crew that the effects still look fantastic all these years later.

It's Boxing day, so it has to be Moonraker

PTS has some impressive stunt work and editing. Spoiled slightly by the buffoonery from Jaws...

First time I saw Moonraker was on Boxing Day ( or St. Stephens Day as we call it!) Its premiere on TV. Always enjoy it, aside from the silliness and Jaws!!

Same here I think. It's a real Christmas holiday Bond movie 😁

Starting the year off with LICENCE TO KILL. I'm going to Florida this year (sadly nowhere near Key West), but also because we lost Alan Church recently. RIP. He did an amazingly great job on the gunbarrel, IMO.

Sanchez is my favorite Bond villain. Goldfinger is my second favorite.

One of my favorite PTS openings.
    Let's go fishing!!!!!!!

Another excellent title sequence..........at least for me. I'd love if futire Bond films would go old school with the titles. Let's give CGI the day off, eh?

The Felix torture sequence- still unsettling 36 years later.

I like Tim's hair in the warehouse sequence as he chats with Milton Krest.

Well, if you could get Diana Lee-Hsu back I'd be all in favor. Ms. Lee-Hsu was Playboy's Playmate for May,1988 ... or so I'm told. :))
