You know what almost never gets mentioned when we discuss best fights is Bond vs Blofeld on the bobsled. It is brutal and nail biting. Maybe it's because George already has so many contenders in his one appearance that we overlook it. If either Moore or Dalton had pulled off an equal a quality fight, we'd all be in awe of it.

It's absolutely one of the best fights and deserves more attention! Amazing we got that kind of fight between Bond and Blofeld. One of many reasons Telly's Blofeld is my favorites - never afraid to get his hands dirty.

You're spot on! Its a terrific fight. Maybe its because its interspersed with the bobsled stunts and gets overlooked. Love the sound effects when Bonds helmet is scraping the sides of the bob run!

That is indeed one of the best. You're right, Lazenby had so many great fights in just that one film, it's easy to forget about. Everyone latches onto the PTS beach fight or the throw-down with Che Che (both all-time greats as well). Lazenby and Savalas going head-to-head was really the only time we've ever gotten Bond and Blofeld locked in physical combat. And (a little wonky back projection aside) it does indeed deliver!

Personally, OHMSS is one of the best JB films because of the unique (love) story which sets it apart from the rest. The action on the other hand, is admittedly awful in most cases. The worst filmed fist fights ever, and like you briefly mentioned; wonky projection screens. The only good action pieces are the ski chase and the finale at Piz Gloria. That's it.

Although the product placement of " Radioactive Lint " ( from the Radioactive Lint
Corporation of America) was a bit excessive.

I think OHMSS has some of the best action, and whats impressive is that it holds up well even now compared to the more ambitious action tat came later. The fight on the beach, explosive Che Che fight, the ski scenes, the punch up in the bell house; the stock car sequence, attack on Piz Gloria and bobsled chase, all wonderful!

PTS- Lazenby kicking some ass. The blu-ray got rid of that awful "Twilight" esque hue from the UE DVD.

Agreed, I always enjoy that. It's an incredible scene, as is the entire film.

Always wondered was that improvised by George! If so, nice touch!

My partner asked to watch 'the one set in New Orleans'. So Kicking back to watch Live And Let Die. So I'll probably write her comments while we watch!

She liked the opening. Especially the funeral scene. She loves Guns and Roses so is singing the theme song.

My partner says Miss Caruso has weird eyebrows, and thinks it is strange that M heads straight for bedroom when he gets into Bond's apartment. She likes Bond's kitchen though.

Seeing as my partner is Italian I ask her what she thinks of Miss Caruso's pronunciation in the first line of dialogue. She's not impressed - haha. Says she sounds Spanish instead.

she laughed at the phone in the car that leiter calls Bond on. Loved the funky soundtrack when Bond lands in NY though.

She likes Solitare's hair but not her makeup. Likes the smooth turn over of the 'lovers' card. 'Very confident' she said - I said bond is the definition of confidence (especially Moore's 007!)

My partner loves all the voodoo parts in San monique. The style and colour of this whole film is resonating I think!

My partner wanted clarification on Solitaire's psychic abilities and when I explained she would lose her powers if she had sex my partner said 'that's so sexist' - not helped when the next ten minutes bond, Adam, the cab driver and mr big all refer to her as 'property'.
