Furthermore there would be uproar and all kinds of mayhem
Suppose Moore or Lazenby took on such a position and someone dared to berate or question their performances, i.e. Rog, you were a disgrace in AVTAK etc, he'd be kicking butts left right and center
:-W
Remember this back in 1994?
I reckon Bonds beard is nothing more than a weeks growth after being on the run from the enemy under the radar..nothing more...hopefully.
amazing front cover of Daniel Craig - he's so rough now they have to illustrate him. To be honest one of the best magazine front covers I've seen in years. It is a thing of beauty. Not sure about the belt though.

This is not the look I associate with James Bond. I know this is bit like deja vu when Craig got the part back in 2005. It just reinforces all my doubts about Craig's casting as James Bond!
He looked far better at the premier for Smurfs vs Aliens:
I don't get why the producers didn't go with something similar to that look? Sigh. Sometimes I feel genuine sadness about the handling of the James Bond franchise since Cubby Broccoli's passing. Oh well, nothing us fans can do about it.
Nor are they particularly flattering photos - I hardly think Craig would be photographed with that particular expression, given the choice.

He looks rather tired around the eyes. That's either great method acting or the guy needs a holiday! :P Poor Daniel, he's got another six months of shooting! LOL
^ Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to reintroduce you to an old friend from the olriginal MI6 forums: Bond_Fan himself. I must say, I'm surprised by your progress. Half complementing Craig in any way, as you did of his appearance at the premiere, would have been unheard of in 2005.
That being said, I don't think your doubts can be reinforced at this point. We already know what Craig-Bond is, unlike way back when. At this point, is just a question of if you like his potrayal or not. The mystery is gone. The answer should be pretty clear now. I have no doubts I will enjoy his potrayal of Bond in the next one, and you have no doubts you will not.
Oh, no.
Ahh. Memories.
Fitting his return occurred on all hallows eve
I'm sure a lot of us are looking forward to seeing Craig's beard in HD. :-? :-SS
Oh yes, Beard thread again :-S
Since we're at it, I've decided to grow another for the end of year, about a third of the way there I would estimate. Not really sure of Craig face status just recently but I don't care if he does go ahead with it for the next release
Exactly. There are "early beard" scenes throughout the film - Miami airport, torture, hospital and recovery.
These are the best I could find:

It's more visible on DVD/Blu-Ray.
