    I've no doubt it will but does Bond need to learn this? There's not much there in terms of character grown from the start to end of a film.
    No. Why is Bond suddenly a 1st grader, having to "learn lessons" every film? Why can't he simply just enjoy life, for once, in this new series? The "maturing" angle was done in CR and in QoS. It doesn't need to be done again. It wouldn't make sense for it to be done again. CR was showing how Bond became the Bond we know today, and QoS was a direct extension of that story.
