Just for fun : if you had to allow an American actor play Bond who you would you have chosen?

While im vrey happy we got Pierce and thanks to this franchise we know about him.

For a 90s Bond i would have Allowed Brad Pitt. With Joe black he proved he looke great in a suit or Tuaxedo, in Mr and Mrs Smith he proved he can do action a and in Troy he proved his abilities to seduce a girl. His scene with Briseis when he makes her put down the knife was quite Bond something i could have imagined Pierce or Sean Connery doing.

Ofcourse i prefer a British or Irish actor and Pierce was more than Perfect for Bond. For me he did no wrong but if we wouldn't have had him i would have Accepted Brad Pitt for bond

George Clooney circa 1997. Seeing him play a Connery'esque like character with edge in The Peacemaker made me realize that Pierce wasn't quite up to the job.
