    Good to see the best casino scene in the series has won.

    A major but deserving upset! I thought OP might be one of the first five out because one of the trends in the rankings game is for people to rank the film not the subject at hand. Was pleasantly surprised to see it doing well, but still didn't think it would beat CR or DN. Happy to see many others appreciate how well the scene is crafted with Khan and Bond playing off each other so wonderfully.

    Glad to see Rog get a bit of love every now and again over the likes of Connery and Craig. I would have loved to have seen DN get the top spot but change is always welcome and OP getting #1 was a nice surprise.

    @Birdleson,

    you are not alone. I also find that scene extremely overrated. Never undestood why some people adore this scene so very much. I mean it is so extremely obvious that Khan is cheating with his dice and Bond's trick is not even so amazingly clever. It is not a bad scene but I find it to be overrated.

    it was a really random outcome, as it often is. Fair enough.

    I agree. I was gone for a png weekend and kept on forgetting to vote. At the end of the day, I missed probably 4 days of voting, and that would have changed things at least by a 12 point swing at most. I feel terrible that I missed out at the end like this. Oh well, you can't win them all. On to the next game...

    Nothing random about this outcome. Of the last 11 voters only two voted in favour of DN.
    Pretty clear win for OP if you ask me.

    With DN the favorite and sure winner in the parallel game for best first scene with James Bond, I at least did not want DN to win this one, because CR has the best casino scene in terms of gambling and suspense, i.m.o.. In DN it is really more of an introduction scene for Bond.

    But that is exactly what a Casino scene should be. The focus should not be on the gambling itself. I mean how interesting can that become? The focus should be on the interaction between the characters involved in that scene and the dialouge.

    Well played everyone. Well played. Out of curiosity, where would members have ranked the Macau gambling house scene from SF? I'd probably put it around number 4 or 5 myself.
