Outstanding work @Gustav_Graves. This is one of my favourite non-Barry scores and of course of one of my favourite films (not just Bond film), so I'm delighted to hear these tracks outside of the film. It's at once romantic, suspenseful (in that dark ominous manner of FRWL) and orchestral.

It is a complete shame that some of Hamlisch's excellent score is not featured on the soundtrack cd.

I wasn't able to download some of the tracks for some reason (not sure why). The ones that didn't work include:

    ---
    All the 'Trailing Jaws' tracks

All the 'Lotus Espirit Car Chase' tracks

    All the 'Preventing Armageddon' tracks
    ---

    Thanks again for doing this.

Oh, and the FRWL theme with 'electric organ' is just wonderful! I've always loved this non-vocal version. Along with OHMSS's opener they really set the tone for the film to come, and in both cases I'm relieved that they are instrumentals.

Excellent work @Gustav_Graves, You've really outdone yourself. There were some tracks that were very faint but I have some similar samples on my Lost Bond music thread you might be interested in. :)

These should download, but you might not be able to open them. Try adding ".mp3" on the end of the file name, and they should play then.

Many thanks @Gustav_Graves for those very clean music tracks.

There is a very short piece of music between the gunbarrel and the Anya/missing submarine track.

This was my attempt at amending Bond 77 to match the length of the PTS, plus I tried to stretch out the opening and pinch a couple of musical flourishes from clean parts of the audio track.

And I know, not many like Thomas Newman's and/or David Arnold's Bond scores. But even all Craig-era Bond films have slightly different James Bond themes. Differently edited, parts/sections of the theme are oblongated compared to Bond themes from other Craig-era Bond films. So here's my definite list of crisp and clear James Bond Themes. Most of them conducted by Nicholas Dodd (David Arnold's house conductor), some of them conducted by Thomas Newman:

The James Bond Themes as featured in "Casino Royale":
    19 - Dinner Jackets:

39 - End Titles - David Arnold - The Name Is Bond... James Bond:

The James Bond Themes as featured in "Quantum Of Solace":
31 - The Gunbarrel Ending & End Titles - Crawl, End Crawl:

The James Bond Themes as featured in "Skyfall":
    02 - Istanbul (Bikes, Roof):

31 - Breadcrumbs & The James Bond Theme:
    http://picosong.com/wwY4V/
    40 - The Gunbarrel Ending:

The James Bond Themes as featured in "SPECTRE":
    01 - The Gunbarrel Entrance:

    06 - Helicopter Pride:

Just found this thread and it's awesome, thank you @Gustav_Graves. Can you get the opening day of dead track from SP? It sounds better to me in film plus like the Mexican music overplayed in the hotel.
  • @ Gustav Graves

Please can u reup the film Version of "You Know My Name"

FILM VERSION (Again, more 'touched up' with richer orchestration, more horns, and strings in certain climatic key changes. So much better.):

    Thx

I still like the single mix of 'You Know My Name' best out of all the options.

Sorry, but listened to them all in a row on Friday, and that was just about the one I preferred. A bit rockier. Had to laugh when I saw I had the "Myspace Demo" version.
  • Thank you guys
  • Dear @Murdock? I used some of your versions, as they are better stereo quality and sound a bit louder.

@Gustav_Graves awesome to hear. They aren't my versions though. They were done by a good fellow known as KaFaraqGatri. :)

I've had a go at doing all the tracks from the pre-titles for Spectre. Obviously, there is a difference in quality mixing from the CD version of Day Of The Dead to the audio track for the Mexican music and back again. But it gives you an idea of the pacing. I'll try and post it over in the "lost and found music" thread as this one is really just for Bond theme songs.
