The Telegraph reporting a rumour that Gillian Anderson has been approached to play Margaret Thatcher in Season 4. I wouldn't have predicted that casting decision!

Might be nothing in it, but Peter Morgan worked with Anderson on Last King of Scotland, so who knows?

I'm not sure how tall La Fennell is, but just reading the article you posted @PropertyOfALady she looks like she might have been a decent shout for the Diana role.

That has to be from the very end of Season 3, surely? Charles meeting Camilla. I don't think they've started filming Season 4 yet (although I know they are filming back-to-back).

That's an interesting bit of casting, to say the least. Makes me eager for Season 4. Or will we see a tiny flash of her at the end of Season 3, I wonder?

The word seems pretty firm on a November release, now. I daresay teasers and trailers will start to appear this spring/summer.

Yes, I think you're right. I don't think the Diana casting has been announced yet, has it? (but they must have already decided it).

Season 3 is going to be a big season for Charles and - I suspect - Princess Anne. Think she might be a surprisingly prominent, and popular, figure, in the show (especially when we reach 1974).

I'm really looking forward to this season! A little worried it will be a case of diminishing returns with a new cast and all, but Olivia Colman is a great actress and the supporting cast around her is fantastic so we'll wait and see!
