I think I know what to expect from Covenant, generally speaking film makers should try to best create there vision... And not appease perceived audience expectations
Friday: Listen, hotshot. I'm gonna tell you something right now. I don't care for you or for the putrid sludge you're troweling out. But until they change the laws and put you sleaze kings out of business, my job is to help you get back your stench ridden boxes of smut. And since I'll be doing it holding my nose, I'll be doing it with one hand
I didn t care for the movie, but loved this theme song.
Cracking theme not seen that video since its release typical 80's
Already have the HD download though saw this Limited edition for only £8, plus I like to have physical copies of DC and Marvel movies.
@Fire_and_Ice_Returns, a Wal-Mart near my home actually has the full series on blu-ray, which is surprising as you don't usually find those big releases on the shelf in my area. One day I'll have to buy it, as it's a very low $60, when it could be even more pricey.
I picked up the BD boxset a few months back think I paid £44 which I thought was reasonable, midway through season 1 the remaster looks great.
The booklets that house the disks are good, though I wish I had bought the deluxe edition.
@Fire_and_Ice_Returns, is there a difference between the standard and deluxe box set with how the discs are encased? One thing that always wracks my nerves about buying a set of films or episodes is how the discs are kept, as the packaging could make it easier for them to take damage.
The disk sleaves look the same and are durable glossed card, the boxset above I bought is well made the deluxe version below just has a few extras...
Well worth getting really is stunning on BD, the colours and crazy sets look vivid.
Frankly I can't wait. I grew up on this! My inner 7 year old is waiting. And I just saw Burt Ward at my last convention! As well as all the toys on the show...
I recorded all the Batman episodes on VHS when I was a kid, in the 80's I always preferred 60's shows to the current ones. Star Trek, Batman, Mission Impossible, Land of the Giants, The Time Tunnel and even Lost in Space really captured the imagination.
We are of a kind, you and I... ;)
@chrisisall, we're a bad influence on you. ;)
We should all team up to rob a bank and then spend all the money on cool movie and tv merchandise. Who cares about investing it and securing a safe and fruitful retirement, right?!
This better be an improvement on the original DVD release from 2007.
Good choices I have been looking at Dark City for some time though it's a bit pricy to get on Region 2 Bluray I have been waiting for the price to drop. I have yet to see the directors cut of the film, the DVD version I have is theatrical cut only.
@Fire_and_Ice_Returns, I think I'm on a bit of a sci-fi, dystopian future kick so I gravitated to those kinds of films, in addition to some others I wanted to rewatch. I look forward to digging into them.
Just pre-ordered this filmbook edition that is released next month in the UK.
I rate Oblivion I know I'll get bashed for this though I prefer it to Live Die Repeat/Edge of Tomorrow. Fifth Element is another film I want on Bluray though it's expensive this side of the Atlantic.
Have it on dvd needed a upgrade
DVD: Adaptation (2002) € 1,00
I heard it was awful so I stayed away. It looked decent though.
