    Battle of Britain is incredible, a true masterpiece of cinema. The bridge on the river kwai is a slow build, but it has an incredibly tense climax.

    I caught some footage of The Battle of Britain airel scenes n HD at a friends and thought I need to buy this lol Hopefully a few of the films will arrive today got some time of work so can watch them

    Found a VHS copy ofTUCKER: THE MAN AND HIS DREAM for a buck today so I picked it up. Great Jeff Bridges performance, and excellent 1940's period detail. Hadn't seen this in nearly 30 years so it's a treat to watch it. I then looked up to see what price it goes for online considering it's OOP, and damn I got a deal.

    The Wild Geese (1978) - Arrow Video blu-ray
    Django Prepare A Coffin (1968) - Arrow Video blu-ray. Both bought with birthday money. For Arrow releases these are fairly thin on the ground for special features, but looking forward to watching these, the first I've not seen for years so can't remember much about it: and the second I've never seen.

    I watched the show when it first aired though was young so vague memory, I have the films on dvd as well as The Airplane and Hot Shots movies, they don't make spoof that funny anymore. Mel Brooks was great also at Spoof

    Just got delivery of 'Becoming Bond'. Dont know whether to save it for Christmas as a prelude to my annual viewing of OHMSS!
    Doubt if i wait that long. Looking forward to viewing it.

    Got a 4 movie horror collection that included: HOUSE OF WAX (1953), DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE (1941), THE HAUNTING (1963) and Tod Browning's FREAKS (1932).

    I also picked up a double feature DVD of CHINATOWN and THE TWO JAKES.
