To complete my Karel Zeman collection
Shin Godzilla :
To complete my Godzilla collection.
That is a great set, I have the 50th Anniversary Bluray which has good special features on though seeing the 4K set I am tempted to upgrade (I am assuming it is 4K).
Two good films, I also enjoyed Trainspotting 2 I liked the Bond reference.
just picked this up for £8, another Arrow Bluray to my collection.
Over the years Carrie has never been anywhere near top of my list of DePalma films, it is due a reevaluation.

Great film one of Murphy's best.
I bought a lot of CD's this past week including a couple of movie scores...
Only previously owned JAWS score on Vinyl.
I already own NTTD on Digital Download from PRIME, though I wanted the CD also.

...and not film related (not entirely true, some of the tracks appeared in Beatles films)...
@Dwayne I finally bought the Red and Blue Beatles albums reissue on CD from 2023, looking forward to listening to them this afternoon. They are both very glossy sets, and prone to finger marks, I do like the glossy lyric booklets.
Note: The liner notes have also been updated and place The Beatles recording career into the context of the 1960s, but otherwise the packaging has been left in place from the 2009 remastered editions.
PS: And my DVD copy - ordered last week - was just delivered by FedEx - straight from Toyko!
:D
PS#2. And long clips from the film are already being uploaded to twitter. Toho's legal department is probably sending out copyright infringement and take-down notices as I'm typing this.
I listened to both last night through passive speakers, the red album was a joy as some of the early tracks I may have only heard on mono previously. When I get chance I will listen to both again with quality headphones to see what subtlety's I pick up. On first listen Ticket to Ride and Taxman were standout, they sounded incredible.
I was surprised how many tracks were added,.
Splendid thriller! Marvin is sensational, Boorman directs with a keen eye!
Very much a precursor to the 70's gritty thrillers, Point Blank pulls no punches.
I watched some of the remake of The Killers the other night with Dickinson and Marvin it was worse than I remember thought the original is exceptional which hurts the remake. Seeing Ronald Reagan though was amusing.
Yeh, I know, wonderful set pieces, love John Vernons appearance too, one of my favourite character actors! And Angie Dickinson is delectable! 🥰
Yep, that and 'Deliverance' are Boormans best!
Both great films though Excalibur is my favorite Boorman film, it is in my all time top ten.

Soundtrack CD John Williams - Catch Me If You Can (2002) € 2,00
Today 28 May 2024:
John Carter (2012) - 2 Disc 3D release (3D + 2D) € 5,00
Curiously, it seems it's a Korean edition, but he soundtrack is (AFAIK) in japanese, and there are english subtitles, so that's all right.
Waiting for Destroy All Monsters impatiently. Should receive it before the month is over.
There are a couple Korean Kaiju products, I'll post some information on those for the Godzilla discussion.
...and also bought this double CD...
Given that we are almost at the end of the month, and that I have some important expenses to consider, I guess I'll wait to get the rest, as well as a few other DVDs.
