    Got another early gift from her tonight: 'Fast & Furious 6' Extended Edition Steelbook blu-ray. I was more than ecstatic, this film was fantastic and I can't wait to watch it on blu-ray.

    My thoughts exactly. Every time I see a commercial for buying or renting the movie and hearing that it benefits his charity, it makes me smile.

    EDIT: Found a copy of 'The Wolverine' on blu-ray on sale at Target tonight for only $12.99 while doing Christmas shopping. Snatched it up immediately.

    I have also heard that the film royalties Paul will receive leading into the future will all be used to benefit his charities as well, which is spectacular. Even in death, the man gives more than many of those that are still breathing.

    He was always like that, it's a shame that so much came out in terms of how generous and kind he was after his passing, when he should've been recognized and appreciated for that every day of his life, which I hope he was by those closest to him. I don't want it to seem rude or dark, but Paul loved cars and loved living on the wild side, so in a way, it's like he went out doing what he loved, which is nice. Just like Steve Irwin: he died doing the one thing he loved the most in life.

    The Iceman (2012). In The Netherlands a movie from 2013. The documentry and Hummingbird trailer not get any subtitle whyle the trailer from Killing Them Softly get automatic Dutch subtitle. Weird.

    Killer Joe (2013) - 2 disc set (BD/DVD)

    The Last Stand (2013) - Steelbook. Happy that there be bonus material, but again special made Dutch release with no subtitle with the bonus material. whyle there feel the need to give the movie English subtitle too. It have been nice if the almoost 80 minutes of bonus material atleast have English subtitle.

    @M_Balje, 'The Iceman' was one fantastic film. Shannon portrayed Kuklinski excellently, and although he didn't necessarily have the physical weight that Richard carried around, he displayed the relaxed, cold, and calculating serial killer intensely. Wonderful film.

    My girlfriend went to a MovieStop and traded in a bunch of old movies I really didn't want, and she managed to get me 'Prisoners' on blu-ray and reserve/pay off entirely 'You're Next' and 'Out Of The Furnace' on blu-ray, as well. I'm excited.

    This is one of those films that benefit immensely from the big screen, still impressive on bluray, but there is less to take your attention away from the horrid acting. This is the major weakness of the film imo.

    Yeah I didn't like Battleship. I expected 90 minutes of Liam Neeson fighting robots. Instead I got what I thought was a melodramatic overlong film that took itself way too seriously with some generic young actor fighting robots while Liam Neeson was barely even in it.

    It was Transformers without the cool cars and fit girl. Or simply put: Transformers without any redeeming qualities at all.

    You should see my review of it on the "Last Movie You Watched Page." To me, it is the worst movie I ever saw. You want a good Battleship movie? The Hunt For Red October. that didn't have poor acting or "Chicken Burrito" Ugh. :-&

    TV miniseries with Christopher Eccleston, it's about Jesus coming back in Manchester. I watched it when it was on telly but I can barely remember it now, it was ten years ago. I remember it was good though.

    A nightmare on Elm Street and The Long Good Friday

    I don't believe I've seen the former in it's entirety since it's original release in 1984, so should be a decent watch when time allows itself. The latter is one of the best British movie releases ever and another worthy title of ownership

    All the President´s Men.
    Being a huge Michael Mann fan, I was totally fascinated how much this film must have inspired him, it´s a blueprint of some of Mann´s best elements.
    And it makes one wonder what Hoffman did with his acting skills since then.
    Probably THE worst-restaurated film on DVD or BR. I rented the BR, found that I want to own the film, but since the BR didn´t look much better than a copy of a VHS tape, I bought the DVD, which is available for a very low price. And at least on my little 32" tv it doesn´t look any worse than the BR.
