Gone Girl - loved the book, hope the film doesn't disappoint .

the movie is excellent, all actors really do give their best and the Pikelet is lovely and a grade A bitch.

    The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Of course I buy it and two days later they announce that they are rebooting the series... again. I'm not mad though, I really enjoyed The Amazing Spider-Man duology. I just don't like that it was left on a build up for the third film.

X-Men Collection (X-Men trilogy & First Class) and X-Men: Days of Future Past on blu-ray. I've been in a superhero mood lately and these were one of the movies on my mind. I still don't have X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and I don't plan on buying it unless I want to complete my collection, and The Wolverine, which I really want as it's in my top three X-Men movies.

I've picked up a few on blu-ray lately: 'John Wick,' 'Game of Thrones: Season 4,' 'Full Metal Jacket,' 'Nightcrawler,' and 'Munich' (though the damn thing is backordered, unfortunately.)

Game of Death Platinum Edition - The original Bruce Lee footage is worth waiting for in this posthumous patch up of movie. Some of John Barry's score is pretty decent, notably the main theme.

Seek out the 40 or so minute edit of footage from the way the original movie was to have been made. It is awesome. Had Lee managed to complete this film the way it should have been (read the synopsis) then this would have been his masterwork. A cinematic version of Jeet Kun Do, it is such a shame that when it was completed it was such botched job.

Star Trek 2 and 6 on Bluray, I figured Spock deserved to be seen in the highest resolution :-)

Classic "blaxploitation" Blu-ray double feature: Blacula (1972) and its sequel, Scream, Blacula, Scream (1973). The star of these grindhouse/drive-in gems, the late William Marshall, would have made one hell of a Mr. Big in LALD (not meant as a knock to Yaphet Kotto, who is good in the role).

Also picked up Blu-rays of Fury (Brad Pitt WWII flick) and Dracula Untold.
