Haha, quite right. Me too, love them. I've been watching a lot of stuff lately that I watched when younger. Seagal's earlier movies are much better than the ones he's still churning out today I think.

Honestly, those were the only three I really got into when I was really young. I remember somewhat enjoying 'The Glimmer Man,' but that's about it. As the years went on, they got worse and worse. And yes, you're right, he's still putting out those awful direct-to-DVD releases today. He has one coming out soon, in fact. They look absolutely horrible and are filled with some of the worst CGI I've ever seen.

Agreed. I also enjoyed Under Siege. But yes, they have got worse. I do watch them but they are poor quality. The new one, is this the one also starring Vinnie Jones? Oh dear.

@Shark_0f_Largo, I totally forgot about 'Under Siege'! That's one a total action classic, too.

And yes, it's called 'Absolution,' the one with Vinnie Jones:

Vinnie Jones is another red flag for immediate direct-to-DVD releases that aren't worth your time.

@Creasy47 Absolutely. Vinnie Jones is not someone I'd rush out to watch.

Yes, it was that funny. The critics who sawed it in half, can saw themselves in half.

Bought a couple of Blu-rays this past week...the first time I've bought a movie since Black Friday (will have to post some pictures of my Blockbuster sized collection haha):

Die Hard 25th Anniversary Quadilogy (I planned on buying this for the longest time...recently they put out a version of this with the fifth one but that movie was such a piece of garbage, I couldn't imagine even having it in my collection, so I had to track down the version with the first four. This is coming from someone who believes the first Die Hard to be the best action movie ever made.)
    The Amazing Spider-Man 2
    Kick-Ass 2
    Galaxy Quest
    Saw: The Complete Collection
    A Clockwork Orange
    Sharknado 2: The Second One!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) and Winnie the Pooh (2011) in the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy packs. Doesn't matter whether you're younger or older - these movies will appeal to your inner child like none other! I just really love these movies - partially because they're a welcome break from the more serious and/or violent films I normally watch. Very nostalgic and simple movies I recommend to anyone who doesn't have Pooh in their lives already.

So true, I re-acquainted with them through my daughters and found out that I really liked them in pace and mood.

Picked up Monsters and Transformers: Dark Of The Moon today, both on bluray and both for only £1 each in my local Poundland. Some bargains to be had at times there.......

I finally, FINALLY caved and bought it:

'Friday the 13th: The Complete Collection' on blu-ray.

Found it on sale for about $80 new, and then I noticed I had some money in my PayPal account that I totally forgot about, so knocking it down to $66 is nice, considering it'll be even less once I sell the digital codes! Gives me something to look forward to after the move.

    Game of Thrones season 2 & 3
    Casablanca
    Casino Royale
(and a free QoS bluray copy as well because the previous owner was kind of not such a Craig 007 fan, when I asked her she told me had she bought SF she would have thrown it in for free as well.)
Willem de Ruyter, a movie about one of our great seafaring admirals from our Golden age.

This is a very sad story to read. Hopefully she has a change of heart in light of SP, if she even goes to see it.

Kick Ass 2 on Bluray, still not watched this. Was less enthusiastic because Vaughn did not direct.
