Robin of sherwood tv series from the 80's
The Inbetweeners movie is really funny, but I think the TV series was funnier.
This has happened to DN, OHMSS, TLD, LTK and DAD.
Except for DAD, these are movies I rarely watch, so I am surprised.
I'm probably the only fan of Neveldine / Taylor. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is my new favourite guilty pleasure film. ;-)
They did Crank, no ? If so, I love them !!
That movie is SO good.
Well worth the money for the Fonz.
They're the ones. And indeed, I love them too. ;-)
Leon: The Professional? If so, a fun weekend it shall be.

Oh, yes! Crank is amazing. Statham is ******* his girlfriend in public while talking on the phone.
=))
Mod edit: our language policy suggests that strong terms are disclosed with greater effort. ;-)
I loved that film ! :)>-
I want to see it so badly. I read the first book recently and adored it. You really get sucked into it and you never want to let go of it. Such a thrilling and twisty read. All I want to do now is dig into 2 and 3 when time permits me once my other reading is done.
Ah, thanks for reminding me! This is another film that I must buy on DVD. I've had it on VHS for years.
Bond vets John Rhys-Davies(TLD's Pushkin) and Vernon Dobtcheff(TSWLM's Max Kalba) are both in it.
Just thought I'd add to my Gina collection.
By the loving force of my dear girlfriend, I will be seeing IA4 in theatres later this Spring. As it so happens, I hadn't given the other ones a chance yet. I suppose my main reason would be my affection for Japanese anime and my related (though perhaps illogical) loathing of the cheaper use of CGI in these highly commercialized American productions. Thus, Toy Story, Shreck, Madagascar and many more high-profile CGI films, are a complete blanc on my film watching rapport card.
That said, I've seen all three IA films now - yes, it's been a busy day - and I must say I've taken a liking to them. The first one: good animation but the story, mèh, kinda been there, seen it. As for the second film onwards: yeah, baby!
Might it be
that stubborn little me
is at last free
of being so very anti
to these films? I don't know. The IA series, yes, I will call myself a fan. The rest...? I'm not sure I really want to sit through Shreck and the likes. I'll call it a day for now on these Pixar / Dreamworks / etcetera films... and hopefully enjoy IA 4 when it's released.
@MajorDSMythe, some excellent choices there, sir. And anyone who's willing to give poor Ed Wood a chance is OK in my book. ;-) As for Lifeforce, with its naked, hot vampire lady from space, is my second favourite Toby Hooper film, second only to TCM of course. Pay attention to the music, sir, as you may find it to be a hidden gem as well. I seem to be spotting Female Vampire too... OK, I'll leave you be for tonight. I suppose you have certain - uh - businesses to attend to. ;-)
- I'm a Lugosi fan.
- Lifeforce, well for £3 you can't go wrong.
- As for Female Vampires, it may or may not be a coincidence that it and Demoniac both star Lina Romay. ;)
Here here, someone buy this man a medal for excellent taste! ;-) Face it, sir, you and I were born 20 years too late - at the very least.
As for Lugosi, I'm a huge fan myself. Might I suggest both The Raven and The Black Cat, starring Lugosi and Karloff together? Not that these films always pay as much deference to Poe as the posters suggest, but there's some brilliant acting involved, especially in The Black Cat, which I would officially state as my favourite Karloff film and my second favourite Lugosi film (there's always Dracula and that one is hard to beat).
Like Elm Street, it's good but it didn't need to be made and isn't as good as the original.
Can I also have a medal for my Soledad Miranda & Florinda Bolkan DVDs? ;)
