Looks like CR makes most lists. I have to say I could only watch one last Bond, that would the one.

Agreed despite being so controversial in the community it's. By far the most enjoyable clearly for most people I wish they would do more films Bond films in that half Fleming half contemporary style

The bottom five were the hardest to pick for me. That's not to say that there isn't anything I enjoy in those films.

@BMW_with_missiles, you've got my two favorites from Rog and four of my top 10s in your bottom 5! To your credit, I can't fault your top 5 (apart from your "yup" ;) )

Yes, I can't really offer any defense for DAD, other than the fact that it's a lot of fun! I've always thought Rog's best were MR and TSWLM, and one of those could possibly replace GE in my list depending on my feelings any given day.

    I'm such a Brosnan fan that one day when I was bored I made a Brosnana;

Well I love Brosnan too and think that while dad and twine are okay and TND and goldeneye are good it's a shame he didn't get better films

What does the community think of golden eye
  • It's a classic. The one that got me into the series. It's, in my opinion, the best Bond film since OHMSS, and since its release, none of the films that came afterwards really held a candle to it (not even CR, which is brilliant), again for me it's nostalgia

Top 5 - no specific order

1: On Her Majestys Secret Service
    2: Skyfall
    3: GoldenEye
    4: The Living Daylights
    5: Live And Let Die

Bottom 5 - no specific order

    1: Quantum Of Solace
2: The World Is Not Enough
    3: A View To A Kill
4: The Man With The Golden Gun
    5: Octopussy

Others have commented that no Bond movie is entirely without merit, and I tend to agree.

OP in the bottom five. Has the world gone mad. As this is your first post @deucelow I'll give you a chance. The other four, you have my full agreement. But OP....no. ;)

I'll tell you what I like if you want?

The plot is cool and complex unlike the other Moore films, the action is exciting , roger Moore is inform as bond , the villains are cool, the stunts are great, and imho it's entertaining also why do you have qos at the bottom

A number of reasons but the biggest is the pacing. Minus the tech, this feels more like one of Liam Neesons Taken series than a Bond.

I definitely agree with you about QOS. I can't stand that mess of a film. I've never even managed to make it through a second viewing.

Picking my top 5 is simple, everything outside of those tend to fluctuate from time to time.

    Best:

    The World Is Not Enough
    The Living Daylights
    Goldeneye
    Thunderball
    Spectre

    Worst:

    Quantum Of Solace
    Never Say Never Again
    A View To A Kill
    Dr. No
    Octopussy

I would like to point out that I enjoy the entire series, even those at the bottom of my list.

Welcome to the forums @GamesBond007. Our lists are almost the polar opposite. Though I do rate TLD, TB and SP highly. GE is making massive leaps up my overall rankings. However DN and OP are bona fide top five entries. How anyone can rank DN so low is beyond me.
Enjoy your time here, and welcome aboard.

@Benny While Dr. No may be low in my overall ranking it's still a movie I thoroughly enjoy. It's a fantastic film with a stellar performance from Connery. I think it's just a bit plain when compared to future entries is all.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Given my rankings I was expecting a cold reception.
