EU ambassadors have agreed to delay Brexit, but will not make a decision on a new deadline date until next week.

What about all those lovely words spoken before? Wasn't Brexit going to be a sure fact at the end of this month? Wasn't that the core mantra of Boris' tough guy speech when he took over? These constant failures are simply delicious.

How would Jar Jar Binks put it? "My give up!"

Yeah, that sounds about right. Let's just pretend the referendum never happened and join the future, people.

UK parliament has rejected PM’s plan for a General Election on December 12th.

I'm a Remainer, largely because I regard Leave as a colossal waste of time and resources. The country is already billions poorer because of the vote to Leave. Over the coming decades we will get poorer still if we do ever Leave. The rest of northern Europeis going to leave us in the dust - UK economic indicators are already closer to southern Europe than other rich countries like Holland and Germany.

Anyway. If that's "what the people want".

Boris Johnson will try for a fourth time to secure an early general election, after MPs rejected his plan.

The parliament vote is scheduled later today.

"People" are so gullible. The government is using taxpayers money to pay for Leave propaganda and voters love it.

As the legendary Tommy Lee Jones once said in Men in Black: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow."

Not quite propaganda, as the vote on leaving has already happened.

But they still have to somehow justify that stupid move, ensure people they made the right choice when they didn't.

For what seems to be the majority on this message board, yes. I do not include myself in the majority view, however. I must be one of the stupid ones, then.

Of course they did, but it's not a popular view here.
