Bond In Black-And-White

I've always loved b&w films (although I know people who won't even watch a monochrome master because it's in black and white), from the early silents right through. And with the recent release of Mad Max: Fury Road - Black and Chrome and Logan Noir, what does everyone think of a black and white Bond?
I think it could work for the right film, say, FRWL or Craig's Casino Royale. If the film was processed right and not just desaturated I'm sure it would look fine.
Would you pay your hard earned for a B&W Bond release, and which do you think would work/would like to see - or is it just a terrible idea?

I'd be interested in watching Casino Royale in B&W. Should try desaturating my TV.

Ive always wondered. If they ever make a 50's james bond film ( which they should). It should at least have a B and W version on the blu ray.

@Lancaster007, you and I seem to think alike. I recently made this thread that discussed how the Bond films would be experienced in black and white, and I even transferred some frames from the first group of films from Dr. No to Diamonds Are Forever into monochrome to test how they looked and felt:

Damn. Missed this, kind of makes my thread redundant. Goes to show though, films like FRWL and OHMSS (i.e. the good ones!) would work very well. I'd certain buy a few if they were done right.

I always love talking about black and white cinematography and style. Didn't think of it before, but when I was very young all we had a was a black and white TV, so I would have first seen TSWLM in beautiful black and white when it aired on HBO. Don't remember what it looked like. We used to watch Superman The Movie on that set multiple times and I vividly recall what that film looked like in B&W. I believe we would have seen a few of the Seans on ABC back then: DN, FRWL and TB.
