I will say I prefer TMWTGG to DAF, but both are bottom-tier Bond films in my ranking.

I've got TWMTGG above DAF by just one spot, but they're in the same tier (at the bottom), indeed.

Biggest win yet, but also fewer voters.

    FRWL beats DAF 21-1

    FRWL beats TMWTGG 20-2

    Round 7:

Sticking with FRWL during the Christmas holiday

    FRWL vs GE

    FRWL vs GE: GE
It was a pretty tough choice this, but GE happens to be one of my most revered Bond films.

    and

    FRWL vs QOS: FRWL
I have come to appreciate QOS very much over the years but it's no FRWL.

    Why always FRWL?

Results will be pretty clear :-)

Even though I really like GE, FRWL wins both matches....

FRWL vs GE - FRWL, but as in the prior round, I must voice my appreciation for Brosnan's debut outing, which is in my view one of the top 2 or 3 Bond films of the past 40 years. A real statement of intent of Bond's return and relevance in a post-cold war era.

FRWL vs QoS - FRWL and this one doesn't need much explanation from me. It's pretty clear.

It isn t always FRWL,it has been involved in five out of fourteen matches so far- and clear results or not, people still get to cast their votes. I understand some want all the most interesting matches done right away, but that isn t happening. I am mixing it up, and sprinkling them throughout. Any match you wish to see will come up sooner or later.

Next round I am introducing a couple of new ones, and pit them against each other. It should be a fairly interesting one.

GE is my number 4, but FRWL is my number 3.

FRWL destroys QOS with ease though.

I did not intend to criticize you... I was just curious why it FRWL was chosen a few times in a row...

Don t worry, it has twenty more matches to go, but we will soon do something else, mate.

GE over FRWL for me personally. GE is a longtime personal favorite of mine, while FRWL is still awesome but not quite Top 5 on my list. FRWL beats QOS though.
  • From Russia With Love wins both for me.

GE is very good, and I have it in my top 5. However, FRWL is just too good.

    QoS doesn't compare.

    FRWL wins both.

FRWL defeats them both, but I really enjoy the heck out of QoS and GE.

GE over FRWL by a mile.

FRWL over QOS; an actual spy thriller over a pretentious film that just wants to be one.

GE is my number one with FRWL nowhere near.
FRWL is ahead of QoS though.

Definitely FRWL in both cases. It's not even close(especially in the 2nd one).

Whilst GE has risen in my ranking in recent years, it still can't compare to the overall appeal that FRWL has.
QOS is just a Bond film that I find hard to enjoy. Craig is fine, and for the most part the performances are fine. But the film as a whole does nothing for me. A big step back after the wonderful CR.
    Therefore
    FRWL beats GE
    FRWL easily beats QOS

FRWL wins both. It's my favourite Bond film.

Even though GE is my favourite Brosnan film and I really enjoy QoS - especially after re-viewing it a week ago.

FRWL beats GE slightly. This would have been the reverse for me from age 9 through HS, but in college is when FRWL took over and has sat there since. FRWL currently at the 5 spot and GE towards the back of the top 10

FRWL beats QoS with ease. QoS is rising in my estimation, but still in the late teens to early 20s

First match where a film gets no votes.

    FRWL beats GE 17-5

    and

    FRWL beats QOS 22-0

    TSWLM vs FYEO: FYEO
Spy is a great fantasy action Bond film but FYEO brings more of the Fleming seasoning.

    and

    FYEO vs AVTAK: FYEO
Except in terms of music and pure sexual attraction by the female lead, FYEO outdoes AVTAK in every possible category.
