TND over YOLT, because the latter puts me to sleep, while the former is the best Bond film ever made.

DAD over FRWL. While FRWL is clearly the better made film, it simply doesn’t entertain me. DAD may be ridiculous, but it never fails to excite.

YOLT over TND - not by much.
FRWL vs. DAD: How could it be different? The perennial best movie of them all vs. the all-time worst.

YOLT - I really enjoy YOLT. The settings, my favourite 007 soundtrack, the cinematography, Ken Adams design, tiger tanaka. The first half of this film is exciting. And the final climatic battle is top shelf Bond.

    FRWL (my favourite Bond film)

YOLT. While TND is certainly enjoyable, for me YOLT is Iconic. Ken Adam’s sets, John Barry’s score (w/ Nancy’s Sinatra’s vocals), Freddie Young’s cinematography, Donald Pleasence’s Blofeld, “Tiger” Tanaka, and the lovely Akiko Wakabayashi and Mie Hama, all make it a classic. Not even the numerous spaceflight related goofs (i.e. using an Atlas-Agenda shot for a “Jupiter” (Gemini) launch, etc.) subtract from it. And did I mention that Ms. Hama looks quite…..fetching…..!

FRWL. (vs. DAD): To borrow a quote from TB - “You must be joking!”

    LALD
Most beautiful Bond girl versus one of the most beautiful Bond girls... difficult.
Moore not quite as good as he'll eventually be versus Brosnan very good indeed... difficult.
Outrageously silly plot versus outrageously silly plot... difficult.

I guess my gut feeling more than anything else tells me that LALD is where it's at, although having warmed up to the silliness of DAD, I can honestly say that on any other day, this vote might be different.

    CR
TSWLM is an outstanding Roger Moore Bond flick, and one we owe a great deal of gratitude (it secured the "survival" of the cinematic Bond in a sense) but then the same goes for CR. Point is, TWSLM is fun-fun-fun, just one happy blast of a Bond film, spectacle guaranteed, awesomeness redefined. But CR, while not as "grand" in scope or "unbelievable! will you look at that!" in ambition, has, since '06, been a darling of mine; not merely one of the best Bonds ever but generally speaking one of the very best movies ever made. Every single detail flawlessly and harmoniously fits the whole. Like a complex mathematical equation leading to that one sought-after solution, like all five thousand parameters of a Bond film configured to stunning perfection, CR has spoken to me in ways that have moved me to tears. I simply cannot fathom choosing any Bond film over CR with, perhaps a few exceptions for purely emotional reasons. Unfortunately, TSWLM, while certainly one of the great epics in the series, cannot compete with CR. TSWLM is warm wood, CR is spotless marble--and I prefer the latter.

    LALD over DAD easily.

CR over TSWLM handily, even though I love both.

Proud to have been the only vote for DAD. As for this round:

    DAD over LALD

CR over TSWLM, but painfully close.
