    FYEO - there are a lot of things that i prefer in QOS but overall FYEO is the better film.

    TMWTGG. The “battle of titans” banter between Moore and Lee is priceless and (IMO) among the finest moments in the history of the franchise – in an otherwise weak entry.

    FYEO. While QoS is gaining on my Bond list, this is a rare vote for a Roger Moore sweep.

    TMWTGG is a bit better.
    I really like FYEO, and GOD is the editing better, but I still prefer QOS.

    TMWTGG I don't dislike NSNA as many here do but this is easy. John Barry score. Classic MI6 regulars and Moore's best gunbarrel IMHO.

    Don't get me wrong, TSWLM is a good and fun actioner of a Bond film, full of incredible sets and lovely locations. But so is YOLT. And when I have to choose between these two, the Japanese setting wins.

    Handsdown the better film in every department except music and possibly the sets. But even Brosnan's acting in this movie is better than Connery's "I don't want to be here, can't you tell?" acting in YOLT.

    YOLT has a lot going for it that makes it enjoyable (one of Barry's very best scores, Ken Adam's most spectacular set) ...but also a few deficits (not least that idiotic becoming-a-Japanese business). Still, my long-standing assessment has been that I rate it 7/10 (that's solid mid-field), while both TSWLM and GE are in my 8/10 category. I leave it at that, but I wonder how I would decide if I had to actually discard the loser(s) from the series. I might keep YOLT after all.

    Both pretty easily. I enjoy YOLT, but it’s not top tier for me while both TSWLM and GE have been in my Top 10 forever.
