I'm surprised that TB best GF.

Indeed. Very pleasantly surprised although I love both films.

I'm gonna be the psycho here and say:
LTK because I have a lot of personal sentimental value for it, moreso than GF
    and
SP because if I had to pick one of the two right now to watch it'd be SP (mayb because I watched GF very recently). ;)

Seems like FRWL and GF will deservedly win in a landslide.

FRWL was my #1 for many years. Might still be. That or CR. LTK is awesome, but hovers around the top 10 mark.

GF: an iconic classic. I do like SP a lot, but too much there is sub-par: dialogue, action, colour palette...

There will definitely be a long break before NTTD comes in to play here now. We shall be done with the rest come summer.

Agreed. In TB we got some of the best aspects of GF blended with the Terence Young style from DN and FRWL. And the big budget Panavision aspect foreshadowed the epic spectacle of the Lewis Gilbert films.
