Amazed how many people rate TND over SP. While TND has it's moments, the only thing it has over SP is the delightfully entertaining, scenery-chewing villain. Well, and perhaps Wai Lin as well. Otherwise, I way prefer SP.

TND doesn't make my eyes roll the way SP does. That alone gives it an edge. Well, that and the fact that has superb action. An easy choice.
We have a record number of partakers, which is nice.

    GF beats GE 27-17

    TND beats SP 23-21

Let s do another gold round.

    Round 138:

    TMWTGG vs GE

    and

    OHMSS vs TWINE

    GE over TMWTGG

    OHMSS over TWINE

Since I am homebound, I have gotten back in touch with the Brosnan films, all of which are available on Netflix. (I think these are the only Bond films available on Netflix at the moment.) For a long time, I held GE above the other three by a wide margin. I am not so sure that is the case anymore. I am finding TWINE to be Bros's best.

    That said...

    GE and TWINE.

But TWINE is still the most underrated Bond movie, IMHO.

    Easy round this one.

    GE over TMWTGG

    OHMSS over TWINE

Would like to go for Golden Gun, but GoldenEye is the more consistent and enjoyable film,

    GE over TMWTGG.

    OHMSS over TWINE.

OHMSS way, way, way over all the other three combined.

    Make that two.

Carver is one of the weakest villains of the series IMO. Hammy, overacted and unthreatening. SP is superior to TBD as you say though.

TMWTGG as I love that slightly sleazy, middling-budget, early 70s style

Really enjoy all four movies, but I feel like another Brosnan on the rocks, double.

GE (I was flashed by it when it came out and it still is a very good entry. TMWTGG is very much a child of the 70ies, but still hugely enjoyable, thanks to the cast)

I always enjoy Golden Gun, but GE wins here.

TWINE for my second choice. Laz’s performance just doesn’t sell me.
